This is absolutely brilliant! I tried a few other similar mods, and they were either too hot or too cold. This one is just right! It would actually be a bit too big for what I was looking for, but what's awesome is you can quickly portal to the home, and the bed, containers and exit statue is all right in the same room. Then when I'm in the mood, there is all the other places including npcs to explore and interact with. Very well done! Thanks so much for my home away from home.
Just curious - I originally found this on Morrowind Modding History, and the images here look slightly different than what I installed from that site. It looks like the same file, but am I missing out on anything that this version has that the other doesn't? Which one is better? lol. Thanks again!
This is probably the best portable house mod out there, it looks very cozy, the lightning is great and its made very well. However, is it possible to add the updated version of this mod without NoM features, but still having the autosort stuff and all other upgrades? Because when I use the updated version without NoM, I have a lot of missing textures/yellow triangles in the house, but I don't want to Install NoM just for one house and having to deal with its effects.
I just want to say how much I love this mod. The home feels welcoming, and despite it being pleasantly furnished there is plenty of room for me to decorate with the intresting stuff I find in morrowind. It's spacious but doesn't feel empty. I never feel like I'm going to turn around and bump into something, (which seems to be a problem I have with a lot of player homes that mod authors make for this game.) I love all of the rooms, and the home genuinely feels like it was furnished by a person that finds a lot of pride and comfort in their home. Sure, there are very occasional odds and ends that I don't personally find appealing (maybe a small box or such here or there.) But they aren't remotely close to being deal breakers, and I can always easily remove them in-game with a console command. Also, I like the placement of all the different types of containers usable for storage. Though I personally prefer not to have NPC traders in the home and will likely remove them via console on most playthroughs, I must admit that it feels very natural (and beneficial) with them there.
I adore how you implemented the drum as the method of traveling to the house instead of giving us a teleportation spell. It really lets this mod add a ton of roleplaying depth to morrowind. It's nice enough being able to keep it with me as an extension of my inventory, of course. But I especially appreciate that I can choose any location I want, set down my inconspicious looking drum, and leave it there as permanently as I'd like. I feel like I can place it in a discreet alleyway up against a wall in a town I frequent, and nobody would be any the wiser to the drums true nature. Or I can place it in rentable room in a tavern, at the bottom of a lake, or even outside whatever mysterious dungeon or tomb my character stumbles across next.
Massive amount of kuddos. I know this was your first mod ever, and that its been almost a decade since you created it, but I want you to know that there are still people are out that truly appreciate you for making such a fantastic mod. :)
Hi, I'm wondering if maybe I could get some help, I installed this mod and the table by the fireplace is a yellow triangle with a big ! in it. I do use this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/36945/? But I don't know if that is what would cause a conflict or not
Hmm, well hopefully that's the only issue, I will see if I can find out what's wrong, but the first time I used this mod was a long time ago and I had used the mod I mentioned before so I don't know why it's doing this now
I have the same problem with the same version. Also, after I left the house I could not pick up the drum anymore or re-enter it even after uninstalling and re-installing it all...
He lives in Seyda Neen on the docking surrounding the shop. He patrols around there, but if he isn't there you can try this to fix it: Open the console (~ Key) and type in "ra" this will reset actors in a area around the player putting them back in their original positions where they are from the start of the game.
Hey guys sorry I haven't replied, it's been a while since I last checked up on the mod. If you still haven't found the key to the basement, it in the master bedroom sitting by one of the windows. Also to Nirvash, if your still interested in knowing how I made this mod send me a message and I'll tell you all about it

Ah HA! "Drop the Drum" on the Ground.

That'd be good. It would be interesting to see what the entry point looks like (even if it's only a drum) ">
