You don't need to, just comment out these lines in openmw.cfg: #fallback=Fonts_Font_0,magic_cards_regular #fallback=Fonts_Font_1,century_gothic_font_regular #fallback=Fonts_Font_2,daedric_font And boom, better fonts.
I'd like to ask which program was used to modify those fonts. I am currently working on a translation mod for Morrowind (the full game), and we found some problems with special characters in our language (Portuguese-Brazil).
I'd like to try and add support to them, but I'm not sure which software to use.
I have the same question. "Ú" and "¿" show up as "?" in-game (presumably unsupported by the built-in font) and I'd like to somehow debug whether those glyphs are simply missing from the built-in magic-cards font.
@ZakeKuerten Just to let you know, I realize OpenMW (if that's what you're targeting) supports TrueType fonts, and the fonts they link to here (https://openmw.readthedocs.io/en/stable/reference/modding/font.html) may fix your issue.

I'm playing GOTY 1.6.1820 from GOG, and just copied the files into the "Data Files\Fonts" directory, overwriting existing files.

Thanks for your time and comprehension!
PS: AMAZING WORK WITH YOUR MOD!!
