You made an actually greate work ! I was looking for some good replacer for True Flame and i finally found it. Particle effects are so wonderful as the design of the blade. Thx for your efforts !
I am following the Modding-OpemMW.com total overhaul list and I am testing things out. I love the design of the sword but for some reason I cannot get the flame effect to work. I can see it trying to work, but it is erratic. The original sword works just fine. Any ideas?
Yep. I had this same issue. The Flame on the weapon is all bugged out for me too. Doesn't happen without any True Flame retextures.... Perhaps an Open MW patch is needed? (*somebody make one, lolol)
No idea why it's not working properly for me, but whenever I add the files Trueflame becomes all.... Shiny. It's literally all silver underneath that flame..
Anyone know which file to delete so you can use the original flame animation? On mobile, the fps drops when equipped lmao which I'm guessing is due to the flame animation
My OpenMW playthrough does not have Patch for Purists enabled and it screws up my quest log if I try enabling it and loading my save. I hope that isn't what's preventing this mod from working for me, because I followed the Graphics Overhaul guide and renamed the files that ended with _nm to just _n and by all indications, this mod should work, but nothing about Trueflame changes for me. I even have the annoying particle effects out of alignment because that's yet another problem the patch fixes. Any help to get this mod working on an unpatched OpenMW build is appreciated. Edit: Nevermind, I just had to change the load order. Now it's working. Thank you.
The model and textures are great, and the flame effect is much better. I'm a little undecided on the absence of the iconic curve in the blade (it's much less pronounced) but overall I think this is a significant improvement. Great work!
As of this comment, there is no "equivalent" replacer for Hopesfire, so if anyone wants one, here's my suggestion: download Dwemeri Gifts, and then install ONLY the new mesh for Hopesfire, plus all the textures. Despite this Hopesfire looking more mechanical (as is the theme of Dwemeri Gifts), I think it and True Trueflame go together quite nicely.
