The internet existed then, just not as we know it today. It was mainly a military and college thing with very limited use/capabilities if I recall correctly. Different name back then too. Great mod.
Love this mod, though definitely a few qualms with some of the dialogue. Just a tip, women don't refer to themselves as 'females'. It's pretty dehumanizing. Just a nitpick. I went and edited all instances I found of it in the creation kit.
I think this mod is obsolete. Do a google search for the LGNPC mods. There a lot of them covering nearly all of Morrowind, including Seyda Neen. They are amazing mods and the staple of many Morrowind mod lists. Also, check out the Less Generic Neraverine/Tribunal/Bloodmoon mods here on the Nexus. Those three also modify the NPCs to make them less generic.
Make sure to get the updated version of the Tribunal mod and the patch fixing a minor quest for the Neraverine version. Both available on the Nexus.
Hello, let me start by stating that I am very new to Morrowind (and modding for that matter), so some of what I say might seem daft, or at least uninformed. This was one of the first mods I installed for the game, and I was impressed with how much it improved the experience of the game, simply by giving a bit of extra story and authenticity that is mostly irrelevant to the player. So I got this mod along with a few others early on before discovering that MGSO was in fact a compilation of solid mods, and installing this compilation would require a clean installation. So I got rid of all the other mods I had installed and started from scratch (MGSO is fabulous by the way). The only unfortunate thing that happened while resetting my installation was that my save file was broken in half (figure of speech; it was broken). Of course, this wasn't a big deal since I had barely arrived at Balmora by then. But from what I could tell from the error notifications, the save game issues were caused by this mod, or rather a lack of this mod. I speculate that the game simply saw a paradox in the fact that the save file still had traces of content from this mod that no longer existed, and had a nervous breakdown. So anyway, I started again with the beautiful MGSO and received not a single crash...until re-installing this mod; forewarned by notifications upon running the game telling me "hey, your game is gonna start crashing" in ambiguous computer language. No problems with the save files, just inexplicable crashes to desktop. I honestly have no way of knowing if this mod is causing those crashes, (it certainly isn't a performance issue) but I really don't want to uninstall to find out, for fear of snapping my beloved base-level mage in half again. The crashes occur every 5-10 minutes, which admittedly isn't as tedious to deal with as some other bits of this game. Even so, I'd prefer not to have them around at all if I can help it. I really like this mod and would be glad to endorse it once I can get some help in this matter. Thanks
I just downloaded this to see what it contains. This file is very, very old. It only contains a fraction of what can be found at lgnpc.org. Also note that a few mods can only be found here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-less-generic-npcs-project/downloads
The bundle version is not up to date on ModDB though. Better get that at lgnpc.org

How was this mod uploaded so early?
Great mod.

Hope this helps someone and happy gaming!
