Wow, it's been a while, so glad everyone is enjoying this still!
Well I'm back and I'm working on a V2 of this with more optimised scripts and a new damage scaling method that won't have the same issues as the old one and will feel more consistent between encounters. Also I'm hoping to remove the dependence on race record edits, meaning V2 will be compatible with any race mods (and won't require patches).
As of now, please note there is a Morrowind Code Patch feature that is required for V1 to work properly with all weapons: It's under mod support and it's called "Weapon resistance change". Make sure this is enabled and V1 will work fine.
Hi! I just want to ask three important questions that i don't see answered. 1st: Does every hit make a staggering blow on enemies? 2nd: Do enemies hit you with every attack as well (in other words does combat remain reasonably balanced?) 3rd: Does this mod work with OpenMW?
openMW support?currently only acurate attack works... and thats basicly just a cheat, also makes skill level worthless. i'm really waiting on a good one for openmw to come out, and this is the one i always use and support, so i'm hopen you can make some magic happen eventualy.
I have problems using this with Morrowind Rebirth Racial Diversity Addon. I start new game and dunmers don't have right powers (not sure about others). It works fine when I disable this mod. Is there any way to use them together?
PS Found another mod that works with Rebirth (Apoapse's Attack). But fix still would be nice.
Anyway, how can anyone appreciate a mod which applies a brilliant idea to NPCs (damage inflicted to them reduced according to how low your NORMAL - yes, only NORMAL WEAPON skill is), but it DOES NOT apply the same idea to creatures? It's like playing two different games in one: - a balanced one against NPCs if you use a normal weapon - a WAY EASIER one against creatures, which the mod doesn't cater for in its damage output part.
Please someone explain me how they appreciate this.
I can't get this mod to work. I try setting the skill of the used weapon via console... first at 90, then at 5... and I inflict the same damage, which should not be the case. Any help?
