No surprise as the plugin is so old I guess, but as a heads-up - this Armor Replacer interferes with the much newer Expansion Delay plugin, found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47588 So if you intend to use the latter to stop Dark Brotherhood attacks until a later point in the main story, consider disabling this plugin at least until the attacks start when they're supposed to. Even after that, I'm not sure if Armor Replacer breaks anything else with the main story or the plugin.
Which is a shame, as the armor and weapons look awesome, but at least for me, it's not worth it for the cost of breaking a very useful plugin.
I would recommend for those wishing to use this mod to simply disable the changes to the script for Dark Brotherhood attacks in the Construction Set. I'm not sure how easy that is to do for normal Morrowind's CS but, in OpenMW, it's as easy as opening it up, sorting the tab in the Scripts section so the ones marked "Modified" are risen to the top, and then double-click on them before selecting "Revert Changes" so this mod doesn't interfere with any mod that delays or otherwise alters Dark Brotherhood attacks.
I don't think anybody is still here this mod is from 2006. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/1610?tab=files This is the version with no weapons.
If you mean pluginless, you can take the Mesh files from here and rename them to replace the default Dark Brotherhood armor bodyparts, don't change the names of the textures though, unless you can use NIFskope to alter the texture directories within the NIFs accordingly.
Example: Change " DM_DB_Hood_blk.nif " to " a_darkbrotherhood_helmet.nif " and place within data files/meshes/a/ The "a" stands for armor btw.
So, I installed this mod after a semi-fresh install and the greaves' mesh is missing for me. It's invisible while on my character, and gives the giant yellow diamond when dropped. Not really sure what to do since I'm still fairly new to modding morrowind. Any ideas?
Something is wrong, I'm trying to change the color back from DarkColors to just the default. No matter what I try it doesn't fix it, even started a new game shows the DarkColors not the regular full black.
But in the warnings.txt I get the following line: Not able to find Forearm part in A_DarkBrotherhood_Pauldron_FA. Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
Is there any chance to make a simpler version of this mod. What I mean is no .esp files and just retexture and remesh (overwriting some files). That would make your work usefull to people using other language versions than english.
Crisb92: The only way this mod could have affected the attacks of the DB, would be if you used the Delayed DB Attack version of the mod. Check which esp you're using.
Since I started using it on a new game I have not been attacked by the brotherhood, which in all previous ones happened as soon as I left Seyda Neen, or before.
Does this change any of the levelled lists or scripts associated with the DB attacks?
