After reading some comments on this mod, I wasn't sure if it was better or worse than using MET. So I spent about an hour painstakingly comparing quality and style and I've concluded that while MET alone is very good, this mod is slightly higher in objective quality. In most cases it's too close for me to tell one way or the other, but the warrior tapestry from this mod is definitely a little sharper and easier to distinguish. That being said, they don't have the issue I've seen in other mods where the quality is so high that they look out of place. Stylistically, there are a few tapestries that just come down to preference, but this little old mod is still very much worth your consideration.
Edit: I should also add that I am in the middle of making a modlist from scratch and I'm about 20 hours in. I am being careful to consider every option I can possibly find and for what it's worth, this made the cut for me.
Honestly doesn't look much differant to the Vanilla Textures....in fact on the God and Birthsign Tapestries i have a hard time even seeing the details i could see on the Vanilla Textures...The Rugs are a little better ....atleast imho, uninstalled for now
I REALLY dig this mod! So, I had installed Faded Glory on my game, which is a rug and tapestry retex, and I personally didn't like the colors from Faded Glory. So I installed this ONTOP of Faded Glory, and it works like a charm! Colors are better to my taste as well! Figured I would post this incase anybody was wondering if you could install on top of another tapestry mod. ( I figured it would, but I just wanted to make sure )
I added this to my collection of upscaled vanilla morrowind textures. Thanks! Some of them have a bit of a high file size, but that won't be an issue once I switch from my 512 MB laptop gpu to a desktop one that has some memory on it

Can you change the version number on the front page to show correctly? Thats all.

; How to extract a multi-part .rar file
; Download and install UnRar for Windows (ver. 3.4.3 as of this writing) from here...
; Create a new folder called SWGDT.
; Create a new text file in the folder called SWGDT.txt.
; Cut/Paste the following into it...

REN SWGs_Detailed_Tapestries_vol2-22551.rar swg_s_detailed_tapestries.part2.rar
ECHO Extracting .rar files ...
unrar x swg_s_detailed_tapestries.part1.rar
ECHO Extraction complete.
PAUSE
;<-------------END CUT/PASTE---------------------
; Save it and rename SWGDT.txt to SWGDT.bat; answer 'yes'
; Download SWG's Detailed Tapestries into the SWGDT folder.
; TESNexus...

; PlanetElderScrolls...
; * swg_s_detailed_tapestries.part1.rar
; * swg_s_detailed_tapestries.part2.rar
; Run the SWGDT.bat file - you can do this from the Windows Folder and avoid using the command line.
; The result should be a Textures folder and a Readme.txt file
; That's it, you're done.
