Well if you'd like to check it out here is the link to the home part of my mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=21984 As of right now, I'm at a stand still anyways cause I'm working out my quest lines in MS Word so I have a general idea of how its all going to come together with the story and characters I've thought up so far. So I'll be sure to update it with the full version of my player home mod as soon as I get it finished, because right now all I've got for the download is the player home itself with no added extras like quest line or characters to complete it. I mean if you want to see the home for yourself than you are free to do so. n_n But yeah, I can wait. I'm in no big hurry. Just giving a friendly suggestion when I mentioned that.
Ahh, I see what you mean. Flickr yielded a lot of good pictures, too. I might try to make it (my mod needs lots of Japanese stuff!) if you can wait a little while. What will you mod be about? I'm curious. ^_^
http://resizeimage.org/resizable_images/21168 The red circled part of this pic is the lighting fixture that I was referring to, but I've just recently started trying to mod myself and haven't gotten that far into modding. I'm only in the adding and building part of it right now, and about to start on the scripting and questing part soon. As far as making new items, meshes, and textures, that will be some time before I can do that. I was just giving you some ideas, not trying to force you into doing that though. If I knew anymore than what I currently do about modding, I'd probably be trying to make them myself. n_n;;
Hmmm, what kind of Japanese lights? Like... lanterns? Maybe you could show me a picture of what specifically you're looking for? Oh, and about using them in Oblivion... That'd probably be hard to do for some. You'd have to import them into Blender 3d/export them in Oblivion's nif version. You'd also have to make normal maps. Not sure if it'd keep the animations, either. ">
Really nice work you've got there so far. Keep up the good work, and I anxiously await for the extras if you make more that is. n_n Also, I've been trying to find some Japanese like lights, but have had no luck in finding any. Maybe you could make something like that, cause I noticed one of the light resources looked somewhat Japanese style. It was the one at the last of the images under images. Still going to download simply for the fact that these look pretty good. n_n
Oh. Just click on cancel/yes-to-all. There'll probably be a couple errors, because there's some resources missing that are present in the plugin. The plugin's only meant to demonstrate some of the meshes, though, so it's not that important. You can preview the meshes directly using Nifskope, too. If there's any other problems, post a comment.
