This mod is not necessary in modern TR. There are travel NPCs added by TR at Ebonheart, Vivec, Sadrith Mora, and Dagon Fel who can take you to the mainland.
The latest version comes with a patcher (TR_FilePatcher.jar) in the Tamriel Data archive. Run it, select the plugin that depends on the Map 1 & 2 plugins and patch it. Afterwards the patched plugin should use the new plugins, having the old dependencies removed from it.
For me this mod always causes a an error regarding "TS_CEGate" or something in "TC_DockShipScript" when I start a new game. But I can see that it is a valid object in the esp.
Opening the mod with TESCS along with its dependencies and resaving fixes the problem.
This travel location conflicts with the boat departure travel location for the Siege at Firemoth Official Plugin. The boats are intersecting each other. In fact, this mod pretty much swallows the boat to Firemoth.
Just as a consideration, maybe there's a way for both mods to be usable or active at the same time.
Good to see there is a way for folks to get to Mainland Morrowind, other than dodging slaughterfish or using a travel scroll created by a mage last seen plummeting screaming from the sky.
