The "spellmaking matches editor" option is great! In the vanilla game making your own spells was awful because of the mana cost (it basically doubled or sometimes tripled the cost of the same effects from pre-made spells).
However, I noticed an issue. Originally making a spell that has low magnitude but high duration was more cost-efficient than high magnitude and low duration. But with this option - there's no difference. 30 damage for 0 seconds costs the same as 3 damage for 10 seconds. Which is... not good, imo. Because That makes damage over time spells not as useful. Why bother when you can just do damage instantly?
It's still better than the insanely unpractical spell costs of the original, but I wish there was a way to fix this somehow.

you can find up to date version there
      https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/26348?

they are not final but for me it's perfectly stable, maybe the "spellmaking matches editor" was modified

On a modern computer with a modern operating system, Code Patch causes the game to crash when entering the “video” section in the settings. I am not the only one with this problem, there are messages on various forums. How can I fix this without installing MGE XE?

I wonder if this is going to be updated in the nearest future? Or have they ceased the development?

Why would anyone download this over Patch for Purists?

For this mod you have to install manually, download and unzip then read instruction text files.

i can't find the ''morrowind.exe'' file. I don't know, i can run the game, but the name isn't morrowind.exe and the mod doesn't work and always say it needs to be in morrowind directory, even tho i put it where the game is

Should probably remove the "Download with mod manager" button if it doesn't work properly when doing so!

This is for Vortex: Download the mod with Download with Mod Manager button. Double-click on the mod and change Mod Type to Engine Inject and then click Deploy Mods. This works with any mod that needs to go into the root of the Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim folder.

Bro, you should really put that info in the description. I assume most casual folk on here use Vortex, so it'd be best to at least inform them if they have to take extra steps to get this working.

Edit: I'm tripping, I thought you were the author, my bad, but I tried this work around and it caused my Morrowind to crash when trying to close it, so idk if that's a good workaround regardless.
