Cool mod, but with confusing installation instructions and two readme files. Also, I find the feather effect OP. Besides that, thanks for all the hard work you put in to this mod!

Ok so just go the mod installed, and the backpacks DO NOT look as good as they do in the pictures, and Ive seen other pictures where they do, look that good i mean. Mine currently looks like a giant round ball on the guys back, i mean, If this was vanilla Mw it would be a hell of an improvement, dont get me wrong. But from what Ive come to see and kind of expect, this isn't satisfactory. Can anyone help me with that? Maybe wone other issue Im having regarding MGSE? Ive tried to find answers to both these online, still nothing. Any and All help appreciated, thank you!

Could you upload a screenshot? Is the object white (missing textures)?

I don't think this is related to any MWSE problems.

i actually found out this- the model for MIANFRAMES BACKPACKS just looks like ENTS BACKPACK- as shown on google images, any steps I'm missing? Id like the sleeker looking backpacks that are in Mainframes if at all possible, i feel this is the last and only step left before I have my ultimate Morrowind build. Thank you!

NOTE: The backpack and Salesman are ingame, but the pack looks like the bottom left one in this picture, and I want to get it too look like the ones shown- any help?

Have you installed Ent Went Moot's mod after this one? They use the same mesh names so you'd have overwritten these with those.

Sorry from the deepest parts of me guys. Heres from the orginal readme.

      1. Take everything off your character

      2. Remove the backpack

      3. Do a clean save. This means with the backpack REMOVED, save your game & then reload it WITHOUT Ents backpack enabled. )You will get a few errors of little importance(

      4. When the game is loaded WITHOUT Ents backpack, save on a new slot & then exit the game.

      5. Install this plugin then, over writing any files that are from any previous installs of ENTS backpack plugin.

      6. Enable the plugin, load up your save game and go and see Farin Hayoak about backpacks.

      7. When a backpack is bought it will give you a dummy backpack, and then change to the correct one you want.

And thats about it. Just make sure that you have no phantom weight in your inventory. you shouldn't, but MW can get weird sometimes.
      ------

Bascally install Ents mod..then overwrite his files with mine. Theres a few different versions of the packs & you can pick whichever one you like the best. It's been awhile since I've checked this mod but that should be about it. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

No i didnt- I just installed this one. and EntWentMoot's isnt even on Nexus anywhere, i tried to find it to see if a missing file was the problem. No no, with this, I just installed Mainframe's the way it said to, and for some reason his model isnt showing, EntWentMoot's model is. I have no idea why, I figured since he based his mod off of Ent's that Ent's textures and assets were used..... All I did was download Mainframe's Backpacks Final, and for some reason this is what Model I get, can anyone help me? I really don't like the look of Ent's Backpack its too bulbous and out of place looking on my back, and I would really prefer to have the packs shown in the files be the ones Im buying from the guy- Please Help, Im getting very aggrivated trying to fix this for the last three days.  Also, theres a few different pack types you can buy from the vendor (or at least it appears this way) when in actuallity they are all the same backpack (All Ent's Backpack) just with different color neck attatchments.... So Im ASSUMING the mod was installed properly since the vendor is in Seydna Need, but even the Vednor's pack looks like Ent's model. Everything involved with the mod installed claims to be new stuff, but it all just looks like the EntWentMoot stuff.................................. HELP

Did you really install it "the way it said to"?
The first [folder] is Ents orginal backpack stuff. Install this first. Then check out the other folder labled Different backpack versions and you will find 7 different types of backpacks. Check out the screenshots in each folder to pick the one you want. Then install this into your Morrowind Data Files folder and it will over write the files installed by Ents Plugin.

Unless you pick one of the seven types and install the resources from that folder you'll be using Ent Went Moot's original meshes.

I would really love to use this mod, but there is a huge problem...THERE IS NO WAY TO FIND THE VENDOR WHO SELLS THE DAMN BACKPACK.. It doesn't even say in the "Read Me's". I looked on the internet and couldn't find a answer either. Also, based on the previous messages for this mod, apparently the vendor disappears..I have no idea if that is true or not cause I can't find the vendor as stated above -.-

      From "READMEorElse.txt":
Go to the the starting town, Scya Neen, and talk to Farin Hayoak about backpacks, he sells them.
OK, that's a typo for Seyda Neen and I think that's for EntWentMoot's original version but checking the ESP in Enchanted Editor does show an NPC called Farin Hayoak has been added to the cell.

just on a realism note, not complaining on the mod or anything, the sleeping bag would be strapped to the top of the pack, easier to bend down and swing the torso that way. Hitchhiking and riding freight trains for 2 years teaches you some things...
