This mod has been updated for the wedding update/small patch, I'll try to keep it up-to-date but keep in mind that basically any update will break the "shared" sprite sheets and they'll have to be rearranged or at least removed. Most of the shared sprite sheets are minor to gameplay and only appear during battles.
I probably just need to update the mod, unfortunately any sort of small patch (no matter what, bug fixes or whatever) will break the sprites and I have to redo them. Some sprites in this particular mod are regenerated for every single patch no matter what.
Yes, it's definitely possible/easy to do. I could update the mod soon because it's out of date again and throw in other skin tones if you have some particular request.
If you want to do it yourself too, I use Aesprite (you can compile this free from Github if you don't want to buy it) and use the color picking tool to target the skin to quickly change out colors (Shift+R) on certain pixels such as skin. I've been meaning to update this mod but got distracted by other little silly art projects, I have been making an NPC portrait mod slowly too.
With a recent update it seems a lot of the sprite sheets moved around. I dug through and found/edited the sheets. Apologies if this is overstepping. Cheers!
messes up the idle Animation of the following spirit in my case the sheep.. no other edits just this latest nov update just stand still it will go from sheep to broken images. Ok checking images this indeed won't work properly latest updated added stuff.
for some reason and iv had issuses with mine as well (trying to add red hair to the character) it breaks the tavern as in its just a black screen...idk whats causeing it but i might wait untill the 27ths update for easyer modding
That's weird, the file names need to match up to the original, and they must be png images. Changing a sprite shouldn't cause black screen, and just putting in a wrong filename in there shouldn't do much besides not show the mod correctly (the game should load fine.)
Do you have other mods installed unrelated to sprites that could be doing it? Like one of the javascript mods (slow time?)
nope. everything was spelled correctly. unsure whats causing it :/ ill wait untill the next 2 patches to try again with changing sprites. it seemes to only effect the texture witch is weird... the holo mod works just fine
