Hi, i'm trying to find something with MHW Editor, i'm trying to find a way to have more than 1 point gain by different monster essence/divinity, someone know in which file and thing i have to search on ?
(To be more clear about what i'm asking, for exemple, modifying Alatreon divinity lvl1 --> Alatreon divinity lvl2) I found how i can make them stackable, but that's not what i'm searching for ^^
Sorry for the late reply but I haven't found a way to make essences/divinities grant more than 1 level of an armor skill (or any skill in general). I'm pretty sure it's hard-coded to only grant 1 level because, unlike armors, they lack an option to change the level of the skill.
It's ok I found an alternative way to make it that it would grant the skill, but it's a bit op, it's making that the necessary number of level is 1 or 2 to get the skill (but i'm finding that some skill, like fatalis legend lvl5, the one that give extra health and stam at each quest start isn't working)
I used NoChunkTool to extract a file from the most recent chunkG8, then using MHWEditor to edit one (i forgot exactly which one but probably skill_data.skl_dat) And in, i modified level of all armor set skills to one, and this level at final determine how much set point you need to unlock it, so it's unlocking at level one.
I actually used to play with the ICE mod. Unfortunately, when you try to edit the files in the equip folder (which is where any mod that changes augments/weapons/safi upgrades is located) while using the ICE mod, the game won't properly launch.
I haven't tested this recently though, so it may be working now. If the mod doesn't prevent the game from launching, I don't see any reason why this mod would be incompatible with the ICE mod because the ICE mod itself doesn't change safi upgrades. (though I might recommend not including the rod.wp_dat and s_axe.wp_dat (20.3 kB) files because they would override the ICE weapon changes)
They should work, the only skills that may have issues are the ones mentioned in the description (Impact phial changer (for elemental charge blades), Power element phial changer (for elemental switch axes) Spirit and Strength boost changer (for Insect Glaives), Healing boost changer (for Insect Glaives), level 1 wide shelling (for Gunlances), level 1 long shelling (for Gunlances), and level 1 normal shelling (for Gunlances)) due to these skills being changed into the new armor set bonus skills, prior to downloading the mod, I would recommend removing these skills from any safi weapons you have
