Wow, thank you! I was looking for such a mod just recently. The palico just won't stop playing this horn, and it's just the same notes over and over again, he is not even playing good notes either.
It drove me crazy to the point where I just don't use this gadget at all because it ruins Seliana Hub if you have sound on... Actually, if there is a way to 100% disable those sounds I'll be all over that mod.
I can confirm the mod works in Seliana Gathering Hub as well. As described, it's not 100% muted but it's a massive improvement. Would it be possible to have a mod variant with 100% muted horn sound in house/hubs?

im actually working on something similar. changing the horn music etc too, i'll wait for another week before posting :P
