The plan is to update this mod and it's weapon related companion simultaneously. So once I finish hammers for that, there will also be more armors added to this. The progress for that one is a lot easier to visually display, so just keep an eye on it and you'll know when this one will get updated.
I haven't played through the game in years and don't remember what most of the story is, ha ha. Regardless, this doesn't do anything that would mess with story progression so it shouldn't matter where you are. They're both just visual mods. Just make sure you get the weapon tree version of No More Slap On Weapons, the other version'll be useless if you're not at the point of having layered wapons
I know you don't take requests, but it would be a dream if you could make the beta barroth armor into the old gunner armor, its my favorite set :D I can't afford a commission so i just hope you had the same idea lol
will there be an update with this armor sometime soon?7 love ur work, been playing with no slap on since release and now updated it with some designs from ur 2 big mods
It's gonna be a while, planning on putting it out at the end of hammers, which is a little over half done. There'll be a weapon update soon, but no armors yet. If you don't feel like waiting, the unfinished versions are always available on the discord
I mean it's not hard to change them. Find armor you want in the files Find armor you want it to replace (Keep this in mind, they have two pigment zones, A and B, so if you want the B pigment zones put them over a B set) Change the file names to the armor set you want them to replace (For example, I changed the Alloy B helmet to another helmet, so I changed the name from PL004_0010 to PL001_0000) Place these changed files into your nativePC folder and then you're done.
A lot of the new sets shouldn't have their IDs changed because that would leave the slot it previously occupied empty, which can crash the game. You can do this, just copy/paste it so it's in the old and new slots, or use the MHW editor to change the armor dat file.
Probably $40 to $50 per model, so around $200 to $250 depending on how much trouble it ends up being. I'll throw in a custom slinger for free. This isn't really the place to discuss this though, DM me if you're still interested.
