Here in 2024 trying this mod and all I could say is that this is one of the only layered hammers im obssessed with. Down to the visual effects along with the sound effects. Feels as though this should've been made in-game. I would also like to express my gratitude to the modders for such great work and time put into this. Coming from console , MHWI is a fever dream on PC. I hope these modders achieve even greater heights in the future!
Thank you for the great mod! I didn't play the old MH, but I like this mod. I think ground burn effect amazing, but ground burn effect duration is too short. Can you make a version with long ground burn effect duration? If the short burn duration effect came from old MH, never mind my request.
looks amazing! can this be used with the taroth hammers? like sleep? I am just getting back in to the game so not max lvl yet. not sure if you can add this to the combined weapons.
Also rename the files ham030.evwp (145 B) ham030.mod3 (998.5 kB) ham030.mrl3 (5.9 kB)
Into ham033.evwp (145 B) ham033.mod3 (998.5 kB) ham033.mrl3 (5.9 kB)
Be warned that you cannot use the Soundpack RAR optional file anymore since you're moving the files into another weapon, sound mods are not compatible by just renaming the files, an attempt into moving the soundpack by renaming it too will very likely Mute the new weapon.
The Fatalis update changed how the game handles files in the nativePC folder (less restrictive in what it will load by default) and many mods now work just fine without Strackers.
one of my favourite monsters in the series, AND one of my favourites looking weapons in the series, hell yea! will we see more valstrax weapon mods in the future?
