Download the MHW file editor at https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/2068
Open the Infinity Sharpness mod file (wp10_param.w10p), scroll down to the W10 Params (5) section and edit the Data values of Red, White, Orange and Triple Extract. Data will be in seconds. Press Save once you've made the changes. Now the Infinity Sharpness file will also include the new buff timers.
I don't know if it's still a thing now, but Vortex has been notoriously buggy in the past with MHW mods, so I've started removing that option entirely since ages ago.
I have no idea how it was in the past, only started MHW recently and still wrapping up Iceborn. But so far with every single thing I've used whether it was cosmetic or QoL it's worked just fine when having vortex install things.
You can inject the file from manual download right into vortex, and it should auto-filter where it needs to go. There is a "drag and drop" section at the bottom of the program.
Short answer no, nobody has been banned for using mods.
Long answer: it might in the future, you can't get banned in World for using mods as of yet, however there were some Capcom leaks a few months ago of presentations talking about how "mods damage the brand name" which may be used as an excuse to start targeting all mod users. Since this leak Capcom has also done a bunch of DMCA takedowns on content creators displaying modded content, such as a Team Darkside video of a Lagiacrus model swap for Ludroth in Rise. For me it's a risk I'm willing to take though, some of Iceborne's changes to World (mostly clutch claw related) make the game unplayably unfun to me lol.
