Don't think this mod works anymore, sadly. Was really looking forward to enjoying the HH buffs, just for some fun :/ I get infinite load screens with this mod.
i love this mod and ignore the toxic ppl here, i play all weapons and im HR&MR 999 with over 5k hours played so i can definitely say im pretty good and i know what im talking about, with that said about half of the weapons need buffs...some maybe not in damage but in movement, like the gunlance's wyvernstake insertion is super slow, almost not worth using specially monsters jumping all around. LS and DB are just fine, IG you already buffed it, SA just need a buff as in when you cling to the monster to discharge you have super armor like rocksteady so you dont get knocked off. bowguns are fine as they are...bows have been taken care off. great sword needs change in motion values so elemental gs are usuable.
The super armor is a nice idea, might take some time to figure out tho. Considering GS, i always considered the elemental mechanic of MH to be one of the core mechanics. (Fast attacks == mandatory element; slow attacks == highest raw) Having restrictions in a game causes diverstiy in playstyle and thus an interesting game, and element beeing not affected by motion value is one!. Thats why i generally disagree with weapons having modifier on element/status. If u want this could be done as an optional file
As for gunlance: Speeding up animations will cause desync in multiplayer. Unless there is a method of doing without desync i‘d rather not change the animation speed
As a SA user I think the super armor on discharge might be a little OP. The one thing I would like from the discharge is a faster recovery. I almost never use it because It's so easy for the monster to punish. Another problem I have with it is using the slinger to turn around, It's a small gripe, but always having to keep your slinger loaded can be a bit of chore.
Since suggestions are welcome, I have 2: Delete the mod OR Do not call it a balance mod or a overhaul, call it "The noobs way to speedrun! - No fuss no muss just install and beat the best speedrunners out there!" or something like that. This is the best advice I, someone who actually knows how the balance of this game needs to be, can give.
i dont think anyone is gonna speedrun with this, isnt there like a rule or something if u want valid speedrun u cant use mods? not sure since im not interested in speedrunning
for SA.... the way it is in IB charge blade is just a SA but better...
i would suggest either increasing more its dmg to compensate for its lack of defensive capabilities, or if possible, allow the weapon to have innate evade window and evade evade extender . making the zero sum discharge have rocksteady would be a good one too.
for Lance, i think it would be cool to really increase the dmg of the dash but also its stamina usage. so if you really want to take advantage of it or do nothing other than dash, you have to build stamina skills. that could create a new charge lance style i guess? also i really think that its pretty dumb how the weapon that is supposed to be the best a blocking need you to build for block otherwise it sucks. maybe innate block or offensive guard? and if possible make power guard have guard up instantly? ah, almost forgot, even if you think that the blocking skills should have to be builder for like any weapon, i think something like provoker should definitely be innate to lance.
for greatsword, maybe make the other attacks that aint the true charged slash combo have good element? other than that it seems fine, maybe take that bulls*** about blocking f***ing up your sharpness.
for gunlance... maybe increase the dmg of the stake and the sling loaded stake proc dmg. so it its more worth doing that ridiculous long animation.
as a last suggestion, i kinda of hate the heavybowgun, how easy mode it is and how it and lightbowgun are so similar.
one idea i had, was making it more like a cannon, not a machinegun... increase de dmg per shot a lot, reduce the mags , and make the recoil and reloading the most slow possible. so you could say it would be kinda of a ranged greatsword? requiring more methodical gameplay. and if you want decent recoil or loading you will have to invest all the mods into it. that would also remove the shield easy mode. meanwhile stuff like the ones with autoloading (forgot the name of the ammo thingy that makes the gun fell like its a pump shotgun), since they dont deal with the reloading, make their dmg lower overall.
technically you already have hbs with not so good mag cap, high recoil and slow reloading, but well, noone uses then, so maybe just pick one of the "shitty hbgs" reduce its mag further and just bump its raw to test this idea?
ah, and maybe make em all have high deviation, should be fine, with heavy recoil you should have more than enough time to require the target... would probably have to buff wyvernheart tho, that is semi unusable with high deviation

I am using Velkhana's set, and before this mod I dealt 50 dmg with Heml breaker's every hit.
After this mod I deal 150 each hit.
And how do i properly install it?
i just need it for the Longsword changes. hate that helm splitter has a negative modifier for element. like wtf?
