CSO is an abbreviation of Counter-Strike Online which is a P2W FPS game developed by NEXON. It used to be very popular in Asia, but now there are fewer and fewer people playing this game.
huh, i know counter strike and i thought of it as soon as i saw the abbreviation (my childhood was lan parties playing CS source and 1.6) but i never seen that gun before. it's like its a completely different theme than what counter strike is. is CSO too different than the other CS games?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think CSO is based on CS1.6? Afaik it's a modified F2P variant that was released in Asia (to my knowledge exclusively). I guess by now it's probably not too similar to the base game though, at least looking at this weapons model.
CSO‘s game quality is similar to CS1.5 and there are all classical game modes from CS1.5 and many new game modes like Zombie PVP/PVE in CSO. But NEXON the game development company adds lots of powerful and Sci-fi weapons (like the weapon in this MOD) that need to be purchased for CSO and makes it unbalanced. This is why I chose to leave this game about 3 years ago. As of this year, this game has a history of more than 10 years. There are a lot of new contents in the game. I can't list them one by one. Can this mod be used on other weapons than the Safi'Jiva weapons by doing classical model swapping ? I'd guess not considering the EFX, but is it possible ?
install the mod normally, if you want to overwrite it with another mod that uses safi's bow gun you can, but as long as you have the mod installed you can used easy weapon replacer and it look fine texture-wise, if you don't have the mod installed it will turn into a glitchy mess for the texture alone even if the model is ok.
