I do not. In fact, I don't even use this mod myself. I just felt like making a mod, looked at speedrun leaderboards, and saw that HH is pretty low in the rankings. SO I made this. Don't really know if it's balanced or not lmao
People really need to stop misusing that word. Whether or not it's good is one thing (there are arguments that it's not because its TA times are almost always slower than other weapons, while others say it might be too strong in a team if they weren't) but regardless of that it is most definitely, in its current state far, FAR from OP.
It's a matter of opinion, but what sucks is people using cheats like this in the multiplayer game, which if it's under-powered like you claim, all you're doing is masking your claim with this mod. Mods like this is the reason why we all suffer from the performance loss to their so called anti cheat to try block this kind of stuff.
Also time for my opinion, you just need to get good at the game and play it for what it is, capcom have been developing the hunting horn for almost 20 years of monster hunter life time.
I never said it was underpowered, I've soloed every monster that wasn't upscaled to 4 player health with it, hell I don't even use this mod. I'm just sick of seeing hyperbole everywhere stating (falsely) how it is some uber weapon now when it's simply just "not s#*!" now as compared to previous games and base World.
It's not affected by the update. The update did't add any new moves to HH or changed any of it's MVs so the files should all still work. You might not notice a difference right away since the adjustments are fairly minor.
A suggestion from a HH user, The damage values for the main swings do not necessarily need to be buffed. It is the Dragon Echo wave that needs the buff the most. Doubling the numbers would make it at least more viable. Though the best buff you could ever make a HH user is upping either the attack speed or song play speed. That would be solid gold. Thanks for the mod either way.
Thanks for the suggestion, the Values for the Echo Wave Dragon are stored in "nativePC\hm\wp\wp05\shell\collision\object.col" so if you just want that, (And the Echo Impact buff), that would be the file to use. As for attack speed, animation editing is sadly not possible so I don't think I could increase attack speed, unless the speed of the attack is stored as a numerical value somewhere. However I will look into it.
Tested it: per (https://www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHunter/comments/835tki/jazz_for_your_soul_a_hunting_horn_guide_and/) the Shockwave in that obj.col file mentioned indeed it the intermediate hit during performances. I applied +5 dam to the base damage, and raised both Stun and Exhaust to the resulting number, to see how it works.
Dam 27 -> 32 Extra Stun 20 -> 32 Extra Exhaust 15 -> 32
Works fine with lastest and greatest versions of everything. I've played HH solo way too long not to appreciate having a small damage boost. Feels like I'm finally in line with my other main, Lance.
i dont like to change MVs so im unlikely to use this mod but i do have a suggestion. left and right swings should match. right swing has a higher MV than left swing even though they match in previous games.
Does this work on online mode? Also I have 152 hours on HH and this dooter aint even close to OP. Its animations are slower and not as powerful in comparison to even a hammer user. I think it needs more to really push it. In its current state, it's still mostly support.

Pretty well so far!
