If you exit MHW without saving after using doing a helmet state switch with this hotkey will probably cause this to error when you try to use it after relaunching the game. Exiting MHW after a helmet state change without saving doesn't preserve the state change on relaunch. However "helmetState.ini" will have updated on use regardless, causing it to have the incorrect value. I suspect this causes the script to fail, resulting in error. Simply manually switch to the currently saved state in "helmetState.ini" to correct this issue. If this fails, rerun Helmet Hider.exe and select "Yes" when prompted to overwrite the currently running instance of the script.
I was just thinking about this earlier today, how I wish there was a built-in show/hide button I could put in my wheel. Happened to find this randomly while browsing top mod files.
I'm a nerd and thoroughly enjoy the immersion of removing my helmet while in town, and equipping it while in the field. Thanks so much for this!

It takes 5 seconds max. to hide the hud and or the helmet...
