I released the FreeCam Plugin if you all wanna use that with the No Blur Special Scope. Perspective Cam, Custom Cam, FPS Cam all have the FOV lock for the Special Scope so it doesn't zoom in anymore. The link is below.
For those that show your scope is still Blury...you need to turn off Depth of Field. That is why it's still blurry for you.
There is a typo in the file name as "No BLUE Special Scope" Might wanna fix it for consistency's sake. I had sent a list of my mods to a friend and they couldn't find this mod because they were going off the typo.
It works The author just descirbed the installation wrong when you download manualy with winrar you get a folder that says no blur scope mod. Within that folder is a native files folder Within monster hunter you should already have an native file folder Extract or copy what ever is inside the mods native files folder into your already existing native file folder Go in game no blur..done have fun
Update? This file hasn't needed updating. Unless if you are talking about the FreeCam Plugin. I'll probably work on that next week. CC Studio is working if you want to use that one.
Author, This Mod doesn't work for me AT ALL. I can still see the blue around my scope and i tried literally EVERYTHING. I also removed DoF, obviously. What's wrong with this ?
I got the latest Stracker's Loader and it goes well with all the other mods, I have turned off the Depth of Field. But it's still blury... Nothing to do.
I figured I would drop this tidbit here for everyone who was looking for a no zoom special scope:
There is a mod (compatible with this one) that allows you to use the scope with no zoom; https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/2347
It has its own .exe and needs to be extracted (wherever is convenient) and started after you launch MHW. Once it's running, tab back into MHW and press numpad 5 to enter "first person mode". Then use numpad 2 to zoom out to normal camera distance (around 3 taps should do it). Now when you use the scope, the FoV and camera distance remain the same (no more blur, no more zoom). It still has the SS targeting reticule and your hunter will still disappear, but the scope should be MUCH easier to use now. If you want to use another weapon or gun with no scope, you can reset the camera with num5. Enjoy.
The Perspective is probably optimal. It's the Decimal/Del key on the numpad. :) I'm working on the plugin for those that don't want to use the Exe. TBA
any update on this? I just found out about the special scope and my initial reaction was to find a mod where you can use it, but still stay in 3rd person
