There's nothing executable in this mod to have created that error. Whatever issue you have is not caused by this mod. I suspect it's whatever manager you use which is an issue between you and it, not this mod. (Mod managers having issues copying files is not caused my the mod, but either the manager itself or any number of other system related issues like the files being open in another process.) I suggest you clean out all mods and start with a fresh/empty nativePC. (And it wouldn't hurt to reboot first incase there's a zombie process holding an open handle to the files.)
It's a local model override. Why would anyone else else see this. No, the game has no framework for sending models over net code. There's no point from a publisher/game that doesn't support mods.
There is a weird bug with the snow textures where the snow won't track properly when u walk through the snow and weird dotted lines that appear and disappear constantly streaking on the snow, the snow also resets instead of staying disturbed. https://imgur.com/a/BzndfoG
I'm going to need to know the exact weapon you're using to replicate it, but I doubt I can do much of anything. This moved the sheathed positions of most so far down you'll never see them. This *might* make some weird connection between the two points that messes with snow, might not. I could potentially move them up instead of down but they might be visible in the sky then.
Or alternatively you're using a weapon that messes with model visibility conditions to hide it and doesn't reposition anything. I wouldn't expect this to mess with the snow either, but I can't do anything without a weapon name.
And in either case, there's extremely little I can do about it.
There is a plugin that's appeared recently which hides your weapon in the base/hub: Hide Weapon (Similar to MHRise) Depending on what you want, this might work better as it doesn't f*#@ with the models/positioning in any way (as far as I know).
In the video I was using the Defender Warhachet V, but I have used every weapon type to test if it was just sns but they all have this effect. I unistalled and reinstalled the mod and the snow still breaks. I even tried using strackers but it didnt fix.
Edit: Its the one folder that breaks the snow, all the other files dont break it but the sword and shield one folder does. Something with the evwp files that remove the sword specifically breaks the snow, the invisible shield mod3 files work fine
This is very easy for you to do yourself, LS is split into two models, one for the sword, one for the sheath. 'Saya' is the sheath. Just remove the others and leave the sheath files. ('swo' is the LS folder.)
Yes I have. I triple checked. I removed every file for two bows and they are both still invisible. I triple checked the files and removed every single file without question. They simply won't reappear.
Yup. I'd have updated it if it wasn't. Odds are the mod3/evwp things will never break. They've remained unchanged since the initial release of the game. (Meaning before IB.)
Hey, i hope you still answer. How can i change the files, to only hide the longsword sheaths? they are very ugly. only the sword on the back (like zaggespanon) would be nice. i would also donate you 20 bucks if you can do i for me!
Oh and what folder are the longsawords? couldnt figure out..

edit: i used the file sorceries in Odachi Samurai Long Sword to hide all the sheathes and sheath parts
If they still don't afterwards, it wasn't this mod causing the issue.

But otherwise, great work, youre the GOAT!
"Saya" in the sheath IIRC. If not... There are two kinds of people in the world. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete information.

(go to files and download only the hide scabbard mod, then rename the folder and file, to the associated weapon ID-number)
