This does in fact still work. Its just image files, an update is not likely to break it. People are just installing it wrong. You need the unique version of the Dropped items efx, then install this mod and overwrite the files. Its that easy.
Does this mod still work with the latest version 15.23.00 Please read the author's instructions carefully. You need to Install the "Dropped Items efx" mod by Crimson first, and then choose to overwrite duplicate files when installing this mod
I don't know why I can't use this mod, Dropped Items efx alone is available, but Bold Icon Pack for Dropped Items efx (Unique ver.) alone is not available
Doesn't work with Fluffy Manager or installing it manually either. The file structure is correct, so I think it just doesn't work with the newer patch.
i followed everything in the instructions i just dont know how to change the "paw" icon into a "bow" icon?
edit: I finally changed the paw icon into the bow icon. can i change it to only show 1 icon at the top and not the current version that shows a cascading of the icon 3 times?
Funny when I see posts that all repeat the same phrase - "Mod isn't working, will you magically tell me why?"
Like, fellas... seriously?
Alls you have to do is detail how you installed the mod!
This includes: Did you install via vortex, mod manager, or manually?
If manually, did you drag and drop the contents of the compressed 7Zip/WinRar into the game's main directory? That should look something like this: Your PC→Storage Device i.e Local Disk (C:)→Program Files (x86)→Steam→Steam Apps→Common→Monster Hunter World Thats via steam obviously.
Is the mod compatible with the other methods of installation? You should probably check with the author first, or read the description to see if it is already mentioned.
Did you install Stracker's Loader? If so, then you probably should check to see if Stracker's Loader is even relevant.
Did you check the requirements of the mod? Did you install all of the requirements correctly? Do you have any mods that may conflict with the mod you're trying to install? Mods like this would do almost the exact same thing as the mod you're trying to install currently.
Example: I've downloaded a mod that changes the appearance of the Diablos GS, and another one that also changes the GS of the same tier. Everytime I equip the weapon my game crashes... I wonder why?
Does the mod require the latest DLC? Has the mod been updated to the latest patch and does it even require it?
Without mentioning any of the above, you may come across these choice reactions.
User 1: "How am I supposed to know why it won't work for you?"
User 2: "Mine won't work either, maybe we can telepathically solve this just like we assume everyone else will."
And my personal favorite - User 3: ".....".
Hopefully this is enlightening to how you should ask for help future individuals who were planning on saying the exact same aforementioned phrase.
Hi, I tried to download this mod.. it required the modpack "Dropped Items efx - Paw version 1 I can only get it to show the blinking Paw versions.. and not this actual mod, any ideas?
