In case any of you got duplication problems when closing the app I'm so sorry didn't expect Space is such a dangerous key to spam. I will replace the keys with Controller buttons next time I just need to know how using direct input.
Please don't right click the app in the task bar when closing it. This will cause the duplication due to the spamming of space bar
FIXED for now in the latest version. I still want to replace the keys with controller buttons just to be more safe.
As for making it work on the background anti cheat might just block it and there isn't an easy way to do it with DirectInput. Reference : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46632796/click-inside-directx-game-while-window-is-in-background-without-bringing-it-to-f
Hey, found a bug: when pausing with f4, the program will do 1 more {A or W or D} input before it lets you take over. Makes you miss the first thingy when the cats pop up
I tested it just now and it does happen even in the other event. The way it inputs keys seems to bug out the game a lot this isn't because of the application not pausing quick enough. I also tried making the input intervals slower, but still the same results. If you want to play that mini game you can use the SPACE pattern cuz that seems to be the safest way to avoid extra input after a cutscene. If I'm not busy I'll try looking for a way to replace the way keys are input but for now this is the only solution.
This is a much more convenient solution than just holding R2. The executable will also start the next cycle automatically, so you can leave it running while you do something else. If you're not interested in the mod just move on.
Just an FYI for anyone who wants to change the code. It should probably just be (A,W,D) or (1,2,3) like how it is when you hold space/trigger.
A/1 comes up more often than the other 2 for the first number. it isn't a solid 33% for each. Which means doing 1,2,3 over and over again should get you more rewards than a completely random sequence of inputs. And for how much I've auto'd the steamworks by holding space and by me inputing random sequences I can confirm that I got tons more rewards from just going 1,2,3 over and over again.
I'm interested in this program, but I was wondering if you need to keep the MHW window on top to make it work ?
Strapping an elastic onto the R2 button of the controller don't required MHW's window to be on top, so I can browse the internet or watch videos during that time. Though, it doesn't relaunch a new round automatically, so when the controller is rumbling, I just release the R2 button, and let the elastic press it again. Hence I'm looking for a solution that would, at least, launch a new iteration without forcing me to keep MHW's window on top.
For that I need to look for a different way to add inputs so far I haven't find a good source. Even just for simulating controller inputs written in python. If there is in c# I would need to rewrite a new program.
I just wrote in the pinned comment why I haven't add that ability to alt tab while running. It used to spam keys before when alt tab but It doesnt really work like you would want it too. It will just spam keys at your current window and cause problems.
You can make it Spam RT and have a Random input of Y, A or B to skip the Cutscene every 5mins, i usually just hold RT Alt+Tab wait for the Virbration and then Tab ina gain, but with 700k Fuel i don't wanna spend my playtime doing that.
Its just because of pyinstaller, its a false positive. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43777106/program-made-with-pyinstaller-now-seen-as-a-trojan-horse-by-avg
It won't be just an exe file if I didn't use this. I wanted it to be only 1 file

do you plan on making it 100% accurate ?
I've seen another steamworks mod that is 100% but I don't how to make it work
(I'll still stick to yours because it feel that you make it more casual-user-friendly)
Sorry!
