• Any other audio mod that replaces .npck files will replace/revert all the audio in the respective .npck. • Any mod with an edited bgm_ingame_cmn.nbnk may cause issues with playback. • Furthermore, an outdated bgm_ingame_cmn.nbnk will cause any new audio to become silent (regardless if you have this mod installed or not). • Other edited .nbnk files may also cause issues, but to what extent I don't personally now.
This mod affects around 90 audio files across over a dozen sound banks and I can't (and won't) ensure any compatibility with any other music mods.
Furthermore, since this mod doesn't modify loop points or include any .nbnk files at all, it's incredibly unlikely that any issues with audio misbehaving has anything to do with this mod at all.
This mod is nice, but tbh the drums are far too weak and just barely audible for most songs during regular fights I get you probably didn't want to overshadow the actual mount impact, but I can't say I like this direction Still, it's (somehow) the only mod out there for this, so it's better than nothing
It's going to be impossible to find a balance that's to everyone's taste, so my own objective was to combine the tracks without the mount track itself feeling like it was taking centre stage.
I also can't account for everyone's audio configurations. Personally speaking, I play with headphones and the BGM set higher than everything else to begin with since I always felt like the default mixing could get drowned out.
Not only one of the best mods for Iceborne, but one of the most helpful front pages I've ever seen for a mod. Had a ton of problems but with the exact altered files being shown right on the front page combined with a helpful sticky on the comments I was able to pinpoint which files were causing them. Great work.
Heya, awesome mod you got here, was just wondering if it's possible to edit the mod in order to revert specific themes to how they were originally (Like Bazel or Wastes for example), while leaving the others intact?
If you know how to use the tools it'll be easy to edit the mod to suits your tastes. I haven't done anything else besides replace audio files.
Just a heads up though, you'll want to replace the respective drum overlays back to their original state too since I reduced the volume of them so they wouldn't be too loud when they kick in.
For some reason this mod assortment seems to have uh. Made my namielle theme the docking theme from interstellar? I'm not complaining, just surprised...I'm not sure what other mod it could be, this is the only mod I have installed that touches namielle. If anyone else knows what mod could have done this i'm happy to be wrong lol
Are you running any other audio mods that that add custom music, especially anything with an edited bgm_ingame_cmn.nbnk? (or any other nbnk)? Even if they don't touch Nami, they could be changing how the game "sees" music files and put things where they don't belong.
I am, actually. After individually reinstalling every single mod and testing between installing EACH of them, it's the damned brachyDIOs mod I had. It also ended up playing havoc with the ALATREON theme for some reason (???) and resulted in no music at all for the ala fight. I'm unsure how packing the files works, but thanks for being patient with me and responding to me, sorry for being a pest, and thanks for making this great array of mods!
Been listening to the music on YouTube and I just gotta say. Great work on this project!
The drums feel really fitting and does not detract from the songs at all! As both a old drummer and a insect glaive user I am very glad I found this mod! :D
This is literally the best mod for MHW. I mounted a Stygian Zinogre and heard that theme for the first time. Had to look it up on youtube and jam out to it for a while. Then I found this mod, and my game experience is 100% better. Thank you so much for this. I'm actually surprised at how good of a sound track this game has.
