so does this mod actually work by giving you biggest size, or does it only edit the name when you catch it? like it will say its gold when it isnt. can someone please confirm
it changes the size that they spawn in to make them almost guaranteed large or small crowns. due to some randomness hardcoded into the game there is still a chance that they spawn as silver or regular, but the mod makes them way more likely. they are true crowns, not fake names like you suggested.
at the stated date, working so far... too bad the overlay plug-in for the game does not work anymore. WIll do the small crown nettle last then. Not consistently gold crown... should look for a spot with multiple creatures for a higher chance.
As of the Artemis movie patch, still works as advertised. Not guaranteed, but the chance is MUCH higher than the base one.
Edit: only tried the "big" version, can't speak for the other versions. Also works splendidly with dave's mod that makes rare creatures have 100% spawn rate (conditions like weather/time still apply)
Wintermoon Nettle is very unique in that it swaps in different sized variations every couple minutes while it's flying around. To catch a crown, you gonna need a mod like an overlay that shows lots and lots of stuff to show you if it's a crown or not. Just climb up to the top and wait until the crown you want swaps in. Dam thing swap in a giant while it was too far away to catch and right before it got in range it swaps out to a regular for me twice. Be patient and just wait for a crown to swap in. This mod does help increase the chance of swapping in a crowned WN. The other mod does have the option to show you size of the monster which you can turn on to see the change if you're impatient like me.
Thanks for your information. But I found that even if I did not use the mod. Use "MHW cc Studio" to keep refreshing ,It just won't appear small Gold crown. Only normal and Big crowm appear (whether you use this mod or not.
I wonder if there are any specific conditions that will appear. Or maybe "MHW cc Studio" is no way to make small Gold crown appear

I finally got one. There is one weird rule, Wintermoon Nettle's size is changing defending on the time. Once you meet the Wintermoon Nettle (big or normal), keep looking at it and change time to day by CC studio, then Wintermoon Nettle's size will be changed to mini golden crown.

Remove the files you extracted to uninstall...
