    Common causes of crashes I have noted:
    - Crash to desktop on startup
    - Check that you have installed the c++ redistributables (BOTH x64 and x86)
    - This means the latest ones from the link in the description, older versions will NOT work.
    - Check that you have the latest version of the loader
    - Check that you have the right version of the game
    - Try restarting steam

    - Crash / Loading screen stuck *anytime* after that : Something is wrong with the mods you have installed, check the contents of your nativePC folder
    - Remember that old mods are not compatible with the latest update, even if you don't own Iceborne

    Get rid of facility in common if you got the "all items in shop" mod (there's a version for iceborn), fixed the black screen for me. I think it might just be certain mods that's making everyone's game not work so go through them (they also might be outdated). Hope this helps someone.

    Renaming "hid.dll" to "dtdata.dll" did the trick.
    As already mentioned, that method disables Stracker Loader. You should download the previous version of the mod, that works fine.

      I have no idea if the loader or the performance booster are working now but doing what u said atleast stopped it from crashing, so thanks.

    everything went smoothly until yesterday when the black screen thing happened to me. Tried everything that people commented. Did they update or change anything in the game?

      No. Nothing changed. The game is no longer being updated.

      Check if you installed anything new recently (software, drivers, and so on).

    Black window isn't popping up at any point, i've tried multiple different ways of putting these files where it needs to be,  Can anyone help plz? Thx :)

    Okay, so I believe I had a mod that was causing issues, but I was ALSO getting the "black screen after Capcom logo" issue, and I noticed a lot of people are still experiencing that, so here's what fixed it for me.

    All I did was use this version of Stracker's instead. It's a Github upload of a bugfix related to this mod. I won't pretend I fully understand what's going on here, but it worked for me, so maybe it will help someone else too!

    I don't crash, but I do get strackers loader console saying "Failed to connect to socket (10061) Make sure you have the console plugin installed"

    While I do have it installed, anyone know how to fix this?

    Download the latest version of the loader and the performance booster then download and use the version from 19th February 2020 as stated by korzon19. It only has 2 files. Using them all together seems to have fixed the issue for me.

    I can't seem to get this mod to work at all. I followed the download process for both items. I even did the 64 and 86 download. I also changed that one file to dtdata and still I don't get the cmd menu to appear.
