Not really, the only reason why people can see the armor you are using is because they have it in their game files, so only people who have this mod installed will be able to see it.
Seems like you are unzipping the files wrong? When you download and unzip the optional file with the flames of your choice it should ask you of you want to replace the efx files with the new ones
