While I appreciate the idea, you do realize that this means that every single time there'll be an update, you'll have to update this mod. You might want to make the descriptions easily user-editable shareable so that you don't have to continually do this work.
In terms of updates, I plan to continue playing the game as the updates come out, so I don't think it will be an issue. At most I see 1-3 skills being added per update and that wouldn't take long for me to change the descriptions of, unless the skill is complex. In terms of editing the mod, the files of the mod are already easily editable with the right tools, as someone has already made a translation without any direct help from me.
I second this. At least the text is easily editable with the correct software and you just need to research a little or just ask like I did. I made a similar mod for World/Iceborne and the comparison is almost 1:1 in terms of work flow and even easier cause there is more efficient software now. Also probably you don't want to make them "user-editable shareable" for now cause people are still experimenting with some data and it is better to pull that info when is settled for accuracy.
Yep, I assumed this would happen any time a new skill is introduced. I'll make sure to get on to fixing that stuff quickly, I might also change the way I handle the mod so that it'll be easier to get updates out in the future when new skills are added.

Currently, no. It is something I have considered doing though, maybe at some point. Basically every skill that is vague has been changed at this point.
I've been trying to make a similar mod for spanish, but for the life of me i couldn't find a program that edits the msg files, then i stumbled upon your post and i was like welp...someone found a way lmao. Do you mind sharing what you used to edit those? I'm trying to relearn how to mod text since World.
I was ready with ree-pak-rs and the MHWS-editor to edit the pak's contents but I realised they don't support msg files yet, same for the REasy editor when i tried. Plus i didn't have any luck finding "msg" related stuff in the internet so thanks for letting me know about the converter, I really appreciate it.
Good work but the "black eclipse" doesn't provide 15% affinity -- clearing the virus by its self with/without the armor or even without antivirus always provides 15%
Hmm, yeah that is true. Although I'm not really sure where else I would list the fact that frenzy gives you affinity, since it's kind of obscure. Most people are almost never going to be frenzied unless they are running gore/antivirus anyway.
It baffles me how this is not just the standard already after more than 2 decades worth of titles in the series. Excellent mod good sir, doing the lord's work out here. Kudos.
