Please make a hard mod version of this for all who dont enjoy the ingame baby-mode of getting soo many materials to complete all armors and weapons after just a few 5 minute fights. Thank you!
I think, as long as it doesnt affect other players, you can use it online. I typically avoid online play when using mods that change character/serkat speed, or give monsters new movesets, but cosmedic and ui mods should be fine.
Capcom does not seem to ban for mods. I have never heard of anyone getting banned for mods like more rewards, adding yourself items, getting more money, etc. And some people bring NASTY mods to multiplayer, like one-shoting extremely hard monsters. The only case that I have seen someone get banned was some person who used mods to enable paid DLC, so they did something that directly lost Capcom money.
Are you at a risk of being banned. Always. This is the risk that comes with modding online games ALWAYS. But as far as the modding scene goes in MH, Capcom doesn't seem to care much unless you make them lose money. Otherwise, just do not bring mods that influence the game to multiplayer, it's just mot fair for other players.
I've been using the 2x Carves mod to earn one extra reward for my hunts, which helps me cut down on the time that I don't have for this game. I've been playing online since it's client-side, meaning I only get affected by the mod, and so far, I haven't been banned. I think they only care about mods that break the game or steal from them, like one-shot monsters, and free DLC.
Warning on Mod Once you install this mod there is no turning off. You must update mod in order to get latest item drops to work each content patch.
Instructions below work if you need to remove and reinstall all your mods again. It's not that painful but annoying if things break. You have been warned.
Nah won't be an issue. The arena quest thing is due to people completing in very unrealistic time. Mods like these only affect you and not stored anywhere in the game's server
This is why I specifically avoid getting involved with arena quest and special event quest, yet somehow capcom has made it sound possible to still impact other player even if you strictly play solo (AKA the investigation quest)
Don't use this mod! You will not get the right quest items, actually u won't get any special rewards from event quests and arena quests like arena coins or armor tickets!
I just found this out after using it for a long time and I missed a lot of special rewards!
did you not pay attention to the awards you got after you finished the quest? thats the first thing i noticed and thought that was normal since those are special quests

Read Description at bottom to clean out mods:

Capcom has stared their crusade on data modification.
