This mod has completely ruined my game.. It was looking a bit weird, so I uninstalled it and now Alma is stuck as Minoto forever! I tried deleting the mod, uninstalling all mods on Fluffy Mod Manager, restarting the game multiple times, installing and then uninstalling it, -nothing- works. I even did a verify game files on Steam. Also doesn't do anything.
Just accidentally passing through. I guess it's because .pak file somehow remains in folder even though you already unload the mod, try to look at this location. SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterWilds To see if there's more .pak files after "re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_003.pak" There should be no more pak files after this pak file "re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_003.pak"
Those "re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_004.pak" ~ .......~ "re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_010.pak" are made by the mod, and Somehow manager fail to unload it, so the mod's effect stay still.
Below is how everything should looks like, 8 .pak files are the game original has. more than that is create by the mod. If you're not sure you can just move them away and test. Mods should be gone.
If this is the problem you have and you solve it by this method. Just remember mod with pak file doesn't work like loose files.
Loose files will be installed in MonsterHunterWilds\Natives
Pak files will be in the folder stay with MonsterHunterWilds.exe
And sometimes Fluffy manager somehow won't remove it clean enough, god knows why. Code I guess. I think this is not actually mod's fault. It's more like tool's fault.
If my guess is correct. Steam verify game files only scan for the files which is on their list. They don't care about those files which are extra or added.
