For me, this (And any other kinsect replaceer I use) gets a strange stretching glitch where it results in super thin meshes stretching off towards the top and bottom of the screen. Anybody know what might be causing that? I'd love to use this mod. It seems like a great way to maintain good looking fashion while still being able to see my kinsect as opposed to it being outright invisible.
Edit: The Hive Claymore Kinsect mod worked and the invisible kinsect mod worked. So the two I've tested that result in the stretching are this one (Which I'd prefer for sure ^~^) and the Astalose kinsect. I just wanted to see if I was missing something, so I've been testing out a bunch to try and figure it out.
I haven't touched this mod in months, so there's a bunch of stuff that might not work xD I've never heard about this stretching issue before though. Unfortunately I don't really have the time to check it out any further, sorry for that. I do hope that for some magical reason stuff works for you at some point! If it does, please let us know how :D
There seems to be a bug. The crystals will appear completely black, then randomly change between an outlined black and colored state after interacting with an NPC such as a shop or forge. I don't know what conditions
I've stopped updating this mod since it's too much trouble to get the glow effect working again after every update. Unfprtunately I'm too busy to pursue this any further. Once the game stops receiving updates, I'll make a final version that shouls work indefinitely.
For some reason the updated version of the mod crashes the game when it tries to load a kinsect. It gives me "Fatal D3D error (25)" If you know if I did anything wrong or how to fix it, please respond, thank you.
Unfortunately there is an issue that breaks the colour changing of the crystal. As long as the editing tool for that isn't updated by the creator that won't be possible to implement without completely rewriting the files by hand. For now you'll have to be okay with the default red colour.
TBH, I have always hated the variable colors on kinsect glaives when trying to match fashion. Since color change isn't an option, is there any chance you add a mode that makes the crystal and the glaive end a constant color of choice?
i have bug phobia but doesn't kwow why it doeasn't work when i put it in the MH rise main folder and i can't install with fluffy any idea what i do wrong?
When you put a mod in Fluffy, you've got two choices - it needs to be a .rar OR it needs to be a directory that is only ONE directory deep. That means you should have your directory structure set up so that in Fluffy's mods folder it has a directory for the mod, and within that directory is the a couple files and then the folder called Native. When you first extract the zip file it will usually default to creating a folder called the file name... inside of that will be another folder called the file name... and inside of that you will have the folder called Native.
Hello sorry I am French and I learn English alone I had misunderstood what you told me before, but now everything is perfect, I did not understand the history of colors, but it does not matter.
the main thing is that I have a big phobia of insects that prevented me from using insect blades in MH games but thanks to you it's over thank you very much
