If anybody comes looking for this particular mod i do want to say it worked for me as of 11/4/2023. Used it for photo mode with Rondine and Hinoa and Rondine's palamute did reappear after exiting photo mode a few times but i'd assume if you're just questing it'll work normally.

Hey mate, thanks a ton for this mod. It's a lifesaver in MP. One thing I would ask: is it possible to disable your own palico/palamute from showing up in the same way that you can hide other's? Maybe through a toggle menu or a tweak of the code? Thank you
Cool mod. It would be cool if you could enable and disable the function in game with ReFramework menu. Sometimes I want to see my friend's Palico/Palamute fight and then I always have to restart the game. Otherwise very cool
