BUGFIX: If you are affected by the bug that causes Blast Dash to disappear from your switch skill menu after uninstalling version 0.1 or 0.1.1 of this mod, please use the REFramework script in the 'files' section to fix your progression flags. The script puts two buttons in the 'Script Generated UI' section of the REFramework menu--click the first button, forge/upgrade any GunLance (except maybe the first one in the Kamura tree), then press the second button. You should see the notification that you have unlocked Blast Dash again.
MAKE SURE YOU'VE FULLY UNINSTALLED ALL PREVIOUS VERSIONS OF THE MOD BEFORE RUNNING THIS SCRIPT!
Potential future updates if/when I figure out how to do them (I'm stumped for now): - Map Blast Dash to the unused ZL+ZR input and return Guard Edge to its original input. This would have the side benefit of correctly checking for shells when performing the initial blast dash. - Change in-air Blast Dash input to be the same as the on-ground input.I did it!
i know i'm probably beating a dead horse here but i'd love to get an update to this that would fix the issue of the mod breaking blast dash in sunbreak. at this point i don't even care about the rework. i just want blast dash back.
i haven't played since you updated the file to fix the stolen blast dash skill but it doesn't seem to be working with the sunbreak update. i've tried to get the skill back using the script you uploaded but it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. sorry if i'm inconveniencing you by asking for a fix to this but it just really sucks to not be able to play gunlance properly.
Honestly the only thing I want for the Gunlance's moveset is the ability to do an aerial fullburst from a blast dash, since the devs purposely left it out but it doesn't really break anything considering how low the GL's damage output is even when considering that possibility.
I dream of the day when I can blast dash into a monster, aerial fullburst him in the face, use hailcutter mid-air to reload all the shells and slam into the ground to finish it with grounded fullburst.
Awesome mod(s) man. Really giving us some options as GL users to keep the weapon competitive and feeling better to play. I doubt Sunbreak will address Gunlance given the portable teams treatment of the weapon, so I'm glad to have this mod. You're doing great work.
Its supposed to be used with his other mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterrise/mods/335, which buff Gunlance shelling to world startards i believe and also buffs charged and supercharged shelling so long and wide lance are viable again.
