To Do: - Fix Elgado Rampage Victory not playing correctly - Fix Rise Credits not playing correctly - Fix Succession of Light Title song "skipping a beat" at the beginning - Fix Theme of Seliana "skipping a beat" at the beginning - Fix Nay! The Honor is All Ours "skipping a beat" after 14 seconds - Remix some battle themes to have more emphasis on Mount Overlay (e.g. Zinogre percussion, Guiding Lands guitar, etc.)
I fking love this mod, it's a literal game-changer. However, I have to ask, is it possible to enable the MHW main menu theme for the Elgado main menu as well? Cause for some reason, I'm unable to delete any files to make my main menu revert to the Elgado screen and music
is it possible to make the mod when an invading monster with a specific sound like for example nargacuga stop playing and revert to that monster song or the zone song after a Turf-war or wyvren ride?
i keep having this when i am fighting the primary target monster
I was successful in removing some of my unwanted files using the methods provided in your post and description, but how can I use only unique monster music, excluding fields(lava caverns, etc.) and miscellaneous(quest fail, return, abandon, etc.)?
This article was written using a translator. Thank you for providing the mod.
Like regular monster battle BGM? Not likely since I lost the hard drive with all my project files on it, so I've lost any motivation to continue work on this.
I feel sad that your work has disappeared. Can you tell me where you got the BGM used in this mode? The BGM included in your mode contains sections without sound. The BGM downloaded from YouTube is out of sync.Is the BGM used in this mode extracted from the world file?
The audio I used for this mod is extracted from the game Monster Hunter World. I mixed both the monster themes and the mount overlay themes together, and then adjusted volume if necessary.
I'm sorry to bother you After I replaced it with music that didn't include mount drums Can I send it to you? I think there are people like me who want a version that doesn't have a mount drum
My potato brain is going to be fried I extracted the BGM from the icebone file Editing Hex is too difficult for me Do you remember how to create loop points in the hex editor? If you remember, I can send you all the files you need
Anyone else have the issue of an invading monster's bgm would linger when it should transition into the regular locale battle theme:
For example im fighting a rathalos in the shrine ruins, the shrine ruins bgm plays as intended, a nargacuga invades and his bgm plays. Narga leaves and his chase theme plays and im back to fighting rathalos, but the bgm stays with the chase theme for a couple minutes even though im actively fighting rathalos.
Hopefully there is a fix to this without reverting chase themes back to its broken state in vanilla cus I absolutely love being able to hear chase themes.
Delete the BGM mod from the Fluffy Mods folder. Uninstall all remaining mods in Fluffy Mod Manager. Ensure there is not a natives folder in your game folder. Boot your game to make sure nothing is corrupted. Redownload the BGM mod. Delete the parts of the BGM mod and keep only the Green like in the image above. Install it using Fluffy and see if the game boots up normally. If it still does not work, I don’t know what to tell you.
Sadly no. Not at the moment. It is possible, and here's an example: https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld/mods/2416/. However I lack the knowledge in Python to write a program like this. Your only other option would have to be to use a hex editor and revert the changes made to the .bnk files for the themes you no longer wish to use. It's a relatively simple task if you're already familiar with hex editing. Furthermore, you may want to edit the .msg files to revert the change to the song names as well. If the latter option interests you, refer to the credits list in the description for the links to the tools and reference material. I can provide further guidance as necessary.
With version 1.0-2, you can delete the associated folder in \natives\STM\Sound\Asset\Bgm\ to return to vanilla.
For example, if you want only the Non-Arena Quest, Locales, and Unique Monster themes, you'd delete all folders in \natives\STM\Sound\Asset\Bgm leaving only the \Quest\ folder and Fate.wcp.3 file. Refer to the Mod Description for more info on what each file or folder is for to keep only what you need.
The battle themes in this mix include the mount theme overlays, but are generally higher battle theme to mount overlay ratio, so it's not going to be as pronounced as what you may have heard on YouTube. You can edit the sound pack with better mixes, but I can't upload the raw audio files for you to use. You'll need to grab them on your own. All you need is:
1. The audio you want to use (I used the assets from MHW) 2. Audacity to mix the audio 3. Wwise by Audiokinetic to convert .wav to .wem (Foobar2000 w/ VGMStream Plugin for .wem to .wav) 4. RingingBloom to edit the Fate.pck.3.X64 files with the new mixes you want to use
It's a relatively simple process. You can find the reference material in the credits section of the description as well as the Monster Hunter Modding Discord. And if you do decide to go through with that, feel free to upload it as an add-on and I'll link it here.
