Finally! I've been wainting for a mod like this for ages. Also, do you mind telling me how to make mods like this, i searched everywhere and couldn't find a tutorial anywhere.

I am seconding this request for sound mods, while I didn't search AS hard as this guy probably did, it did seem odd there wasn't a direct tutorial for that while there did exist ones for models.

i would love a mod that changes Lance counter sound to the Pizza Tower Parry sound/Taunt sound. Sound for refference here: https://youtu.be/-gu43yeM8bI?t=41

There is one tutorial that i found in the comments of another mod
(I'll try to keep what they said short and throw in some stuff i found out later on)
      1. Download the tools to extract the files from the game (REtool, extract-rise-pak.bat, mhrisePC.list)
      2. Filter out only what you want to extract by using the find function of notepad++ and delete the lines you don't need (more info on how to filter the wiki, in this case i find it easier to search for pl_wp instead of the file type)
      3. After extracting the files, get Wwise, Ringing bloom, foobar 2000 and the vgmstream plugin for foobar so you can actually play wem files.
      4. Follow this video to convert your desired wav files to wem files
      5. Open the bnk file you want to edit in RE8 mode, mhr mode doesn't open x64 files for some reason. (for example the lance sounds are in pl_wp_lan_epv_madia.bnk.2.X64)
5.5 If you don't know which files to change, i suggest downloading another mod and then export the wem files to check which ones you are supposed to change. (you export the files by right clicking the data index > export wems)
      6. Right click on the wem you want to replace and replace it with the file you converted
6.5 Not sure if this one is needed but change the file name back to "Imported Wem xx", xx being the number of the original file
      7. Export your bnk with the same name (pl_wp_lan_epv_madia.bnk.2.x64 in this case) in a different folder, presumably named what your mod is called
      8. make it into a rar file and plop it into fluffy mod manager and test it out in game

      Tips:
Some wav files have weird encoding so you might need to re-encode them with audacity or something, re-encode them as Signed 24-bit is what worked for me.
Don't use hitsounds from tf2 hitsounds sites, they will not convert into wem files because they are not supported types of wav files, i assume its the encoding but idk.
If it still doesnt work, try disabling mods on fluffy and press the re-read archive button then re-enable them

When i drag the re_chunk_000 to the extract-pak, after it "reading" mhrisePC.list, the CMD just closes and nothing happens, also when i try to open REtool, it just closes immediately. Any idea why this is happening?

REtool is not supposed to be openable, try double clicking on the extract-rise-pak.bat and then following the instructions on the window?

the extract-pak shows the following mensage:

      C:\Users\_______\Desktop\REtool>.\REtool.exe -h mhrisePC.list -x -skipUnknowns
      Read 180506 entries from mhrisePC.list
RE Engine PAK tool v0.219 (by youtube.com/user/FluffyQuack)
      usage: retool [options]
-x [pak]              Unpack PAK container file
-c [folder]           Create a PAK file from directory
-i [path]             Invalidate entries in PAK container
-iAlt [path] [pak]    Alternate method for PAK entry invalidation
-l [pak]              List files in PAK container
-h [hashList]         Supply list of hash filename for PAK extraction/listing
-skipUnknowns         Skip files with unknown path while unpacking PAK
-tex                  Convert TEX files to DDS while unpacking PAK
        -keepBC7type          Don't change BC7 type during DDStoTEX
-noExtractDir         Extract PAK data into current folder
-tex [file]           Convert one TEX file to DDS
-dds [file]           Convert one DDS file to TEX
-murmur [string]      Convert string to Murmur3 hash
-outputHashList       Creates new hash list without duplicates
-combineHashlists     Combines two lists and removes duplicates
-dontOverwrite        Skip extracting files that exist
-texInfo [file]       Output info about a TEX file
-texReduce [file]     Reduce resolution of a TEX file
-texReduceBy [#]      Divide TEX resolution by this (default is 4)
-trimList             Output file list with only matching paths
Press any key to continue. . .

Then, the tutorial asks me to drag re_chunk_000 on top of the CMD, and then it closes and nothing happens, is tha what it is supposed to happen?

Hmm i'm not quite sure what the issue is for you, but i've never encountered that issue before.
maybe you could go to the Monster Hunter Modding Discord and ask for some help there?

No problem, i went into the modding discord yesterday and they helped me, i was just being dumb and doing things wrong. Btw, thank you for the help, you gave me the lead to where to start.
