Now when I open the .efx file with 010 editor and run it with the RE_RSZ template, I will get an error of "Header not detected". Obviously this template doesn't fully support .efx files, so I can't modify the hidden data.I can only wait for a more adaptive template to be released. Therefore, this mod can only be like this at this stage :(
ok after downloading and having fps issues i deleted some mods that might have been causing the problems: ajustable ui scale, and device stutter fix. dunno wich one but if i had to guess the stutter one is conflicting with yours, after i removed it working just fine now, so id guess thats the one
Omg finally! Now I can play multiplayer without the headache from all these effects and wanting to gauge my eyes out. Thx man. For the future, u can make several versions with different amounts of effects removed, but for me this version is perfect. Btw no frame drops at all.
2 other friends and I tried this out for a bit, and we started getting massive framedrops after playing with it for about a half hour. Uninstalling fixed it.
can confirm, but the frame drop is not progressive. After around 40 minutes it drop down to like 55 and it's stable until the next quest. Then on next quest it drop more (around 5fps), i got down to 42 after 1 hours. Rebooting the game fixed the issue. Unlocking the frame rate ingame did nothing, reducing it to 30 then back to 60 the same. as well as turning vsync on and off.
So rebooting the game fix the issue, i rather reboot every 50 minutes than having a seizure every seconds.
It is not clear how the effects files work, and the readability of the files is too poor, which makes it impossible for me to modify the data perfectly.
I heard some people are having issues and I want to comment that I have played for 2 hours straight with the mod and had no issues at all. So it's not a problem that everyone is having. Perhaps it's having incompatibility with other mods?
Not only the critical effect, it disabled all the hit effect. Not to request too much but hope some basic effect can be maintained?like elemental hit effect)

I do of course wish there could be some indicator of hitting the monster, like small splashes of blood, but no matter. You're a hero, thank you so much! \o/
