Have you tried following one of the tutorials you can find on Youtube? Here's one I've found, and the guide about Fluffy mod which this starting screen mod is based on is on 6:11 of this video.
There are a lot of tutorials on how to install mods utilizing Fluffy mod manager on Youtube, and here's one that I've found! Skip to 6:11 for tutorial on Fluffy mods.
This mod works fine for me. It's weird since the chaotic gore magala loading screen causes my game to freeze at startup (only mod, since I always disable all mods on a new update, boot up and enable a few mods 1 by 1 to check for stability)
Maybe it's the way I archived the mod file that makes the difference? The Chaotic Gore one was archived in .zip format while this one was archived in .rar. I'm not a tech savvy myself so I don't know if that might make any difference, but that's pretty much the only difference between the two mods.

EDIT: I've uninstalled it and now it's showing up. How do I fix it lmao I need it to go back to normal.

This is the mod that I test archived in .zip format some days before. The files are completely the same so I don't think it'll make any big difference, but just in case if you want to try it out.
