WARNING: MHR crashes if it detects DLLs like Reshade. You can use either of these mods to fix the problem: https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterrise/mods/28 https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterrise/mods/29
I am confused on which packages to install for the natural colors and contrast one? i ended up selecting standard effects - sweetfx ceejay and legacy not sure if missing some others?
For some reason using ReShade with this preset removes all shadows from the game as if they were switched off. When I run around I can see them flickering in occasionally, but they mostly are off. Toggling the preset off and on doesn't seem to bring them back, so I wonder if its a problem with ReShade more than the preset..
was having trouble with the install, it still works with just the default packages. having all of them causes the trees and banners to smear and become blindingly bright
Not sure if all the filters are included in the default/legacy package, but it should at least work to some degree.
Be warned that if you download all filters, there are some dupes and it auto loads the dupes, which can makes some things extra bright. In those cases, if you know how to look at the list of filters and see the dupes, you can delete the dupes manually.
Thanks for the reshade. During the day its pretty good, on the red side, but its better than being green. I do find it kinda too blue at night unfortunately. Not sure if theres a way to fix that. Im srgb calibrated for my monitor.
Edit: Doing some manual tweaking now to see if i can make it suit my taste a bit better, The naturalcolor&contrast lite is definitely a better baseline though.
Edit2: Damn someone just came out with a Disable Colorgrading mod. Thats definitely a much better starting point for reshade presets.
Doesn't seem to be. I kept getting crashes about every 30 minutes. I've been playing for the last couple of hours without a single crash after uninstalling reshade.
I'm using 4.9.1. I started getting crashes too. I think I wasn't getting crashes before because I was only doing single quests and then closing the game. It seems like it only crashes after doing one quest and then loading "too much" data after that one quest.
Anyway, there are now Reshade injectors available, so the crashing should stop.
I as well am getting crashing issues and am really bummed that it seems the fix is to uninstall reshade, do you think reshade will ever work with it? or are we outta luck?
There is now a Reshade injector by the same person who made one for MHW. The problem is apparently that MHR doesn't like third party DLLs like Reshade (probably intentional because it was in MHW).

UberGrainy, what version of ReShade are you using? Is it perhaps not the last release, 4.9.1?
