Here's how I did it: 1. Go to this link: https://github.com/praydog/REFramework/issues/457 2. Download the CJK_font.zip file 3. Open said file and put "font_test.iua" in the "AUTORUN" folder and "NotoSansJP-Regular.otf" in the "FONTS" folder 4. ??? 5. PROFIT
I'm just wondering what will happen to the name on the guild card that has been sent to others, and the name on the co-op arena records on others' guild card after name changing. Thanks
Thank you! Worked for me flawlessly. Make sure you have the REFramework mod in the requirements installed to the root directory of the Monster Hunter Rise install folder. The throw this mod (specifically the reframework folder with its contents) into that same directory.
Launch the game and the REFramework mod menu should appear, and if not, press the insert key. Make sure you are at the title screen when doing so. At the bottom of the menu, press "Script Generated UI" and then hit "NameChangeUtil". You should then be able to change your name and hit save. After, you should be good to go to the file select menu and your name should be updated. Just make to hit save right away and you're good to go.
I made a profile with my buddies and I gave my guy green face paint and named him Shrek. It was funny at first but it got annoying once I played solo. Thank goodness for this tool lol
Mod still works. Honestly, ignore EVERYONE commenting something doesn't work on any mod page. People are braindead. Test it for yourself. I can't count how any mods that people screamed "DOESN'T WORK" that do, in fact, work.

Opened it on the title screen and this is what shows up... idk what I'm doing wrong
Edit: nevermind i had to press a button again so the new game, load game etc stuff shows up lol
