Is there a way to do so ourselves? Is it as simple as changing the armour names like pl*** to pl***? If so, how to know Iori and Yomogi's or any other NPCs codes?
can I ask renaming how? do I need a tool or editor? I tried opening some of the files as .txt and replaced the NPC id but could not get it to work... Any info would be very much appreciated!
First of all, thank you for the quick response! (I feel blessed :P)
Second I now feel dumb because I cannot see any NPC ID on the files, all the files are named after the armor ID for the guild armor (which I know it is because that's the armor that gets replaced) but can't get to understand which files am I supposed to rename if I don't find any NPC ID for Chichae/Princess in the first place on the MOD files?
these are the only files and folders I see on the Mod files:
I know that if you replace the "279" for other Armor ID it would be replacing other armor, but I was wondering how to change, that instead of being Chichae/Princess, to be Iori "npc302_00" or Yomogi "npc004_00".
So which file(s) am I supposed to rename? (I was guessing it was a change like from "npc601_00" to "npc302_00" by using the NPC IDs).
sorry for all the text, didn't wanted to keep replying you back over and over again, so I decided to explain it as good as I could.
You extract the re_chunk_000.pak so you have access to all the NPC files.
Then you locate for example Yomogi's NPC files.
You copy these 3 files of her body to the armor you want to have replaced.
Do the same for the head and hair. You can put the npc body on a player body armor, the npc head on a player helm armor, and the npc hair on the player leg, arm or waist armor.
Make sure the armor you want to replace also has a chain file in its armor slot (arm, leg, helm, body, waist)
Then you rename the npc004_00_body.mesh.2109148288 (Yomogi mpc body) to m_body246.mesh.2109148288 (Utsushi V Set). Do the same thing for the chain and mdf files.
Repeat the same steps for the npc head and the npc hair and copy the shadowbone from this mod without changing its path.
THANK YOU! I finally got it to work! I still don't feel worthy of your assistance, this was more of a lecture/lesson on how these files work (I was expecting just to do some rename on the mod files as with the armors) but this was even better, now to do some hunting!!! Have a good one!
I'm sorry, but I can't find the solution anywhere else: how do you extract the pak file? I tried with both winrar and 7zip, but both of them give me the "cannot open the file D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterRise\re_chunk_000.pak as an archive" error
After you placed them all in the same folder, make sure to copy the "re_chunk_000.pak" for the base game files in the same folder. Then drag and drop the "re_chunk_000.pak" into extract-rise-pak.bat. The CMD will pop and extract all contents from the "extract-rise-pak.bat" that is listed inside the mhrisePC.list.
Also make sure not to drag and drop the "re_chunk_000.pak" while its still in the monster hunter rise folder. It wont extract it from there.
If you want to extract the TU6 contents, make sure to get the "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_001.pak" from the mhr folder and rename it to "re_chunk_000.pak". Then drag and drop it into "extract-rise-pak.bat"
After the game update, my character only has white texture left. Does it need to be updated? Editor: Sorry, I was too Stupid. After reloading mod, it worked properly.
Mannn I wish I could have just the proportions for the player model just shrunk to this so that I can use other armors, still love this mod though, thanks for the update!
Would it be possible to create a .pak version of the mod like the old version had it? Since i did try to install it with fluffy manager 5000 for a while now and i can't figure out where the issue is, but my game won't let me get past the first loading screen.

would be cool to have them 3 in the game too.

And thanks for the info.
