The water strike while charging is not working for me. Is the waterstrike.lua supposed to be empty?
Edit : My mistake, I confused the nintendo and xbox face buttons. The waterstrike while charging is bound to 'use item/sheath' key which is 'E' for me on keyboard.
If the other functions of this mod are working, maybe you are pressing the wrong button. (On the X-input pad) WS is usually the B button, but WS during charge is the X button.
As mentioned in the thread above, Waterstrike.lua is an empty file that is not needed and can be deleted.
I'm definitely pressing the correct button, I double checked. I am on Mouse+Keyboard, could that be an issue?
As for the waterstrike.lua, I tried deleting it, but that didn't work either. Plus, as I understood the pinned comment, it was asking to delete the file from a previous update.
1.Check file integrity in STEAM. 2.Installed only this mod and latest version of REFramework. (Be especially careful if you are using Fluffy) 3. The other features of this mod are working fine. If you have all that and it still doesn't work, it could be because of how keyboards vary in how they support simultaneous input, as you say.
I usually play with a pad, but I was able to get WS during a charge when I tried with the keyboard with the default key settings. (It didn't work with the setting for simultaneous input with one key for the keyboard...) However, in trying other mods I have found that some of them work with the pad but don't work with the keyboard.
I have checked everything as you said, but the issue persists. But it's not a big deal for me. Keeping sway changes + lv3 charge after waterstrike alone are more than enough.
I updated REFramework to the latest version and also turned off other MODs but it doesn't work. As others have said, I don't think the problem is with the gamepad, so how can I get this mod to work?
Beautiful addition to Hammer's moveset! Still works as of 2/4/2024. Having access to Water Strike feels SO good while charging. Though, I am not able to Impact Crater from getting launched. Either way, excellent work! Thank you so much!
For anyone interested I've created a temporary fix for TU6.
Replace the file CopiumWaterstrike.lua(Located in Steam\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterRise\reframework\autorun) with the one from HERE and restart the game(If running).
I came across a great fix from your CB mod page. This mod is indispensable for me.THX!
However, the following two points did not work.(I use other mods, so it may be my environment) 1.Water Strike can now be used during charge. 2.Evasion and Evade Extender now affects Keeping Sway.
I've tested it again and it works for me (No other mod used). Could you please check if you have the latest REFramework version installed? This should probably be the problem. Otherwise as you've said, it could be the other mods interfering. Can't really saying without knowing what other mods you have installed. This is actually my fault. I've used the incorrect IDs.Not sure where do these values come from but I will try to fix it, when I get the chance!
After re-installing the REF and mods I found the cause of 1 not working. It seems there was a problem with the gamepad I use. It works now and the other options work fine. (I have not tested the behavior when launching teammates)
This fix works like a charm. Thank you! I did have a question. is it possible to modify the switch axe copium to work for update 6? I do not believe the original creator will return to update the rest and I really enjoyed that one.
Hey man, would absolutely love an update for the final update. This mod is incredible and makes hammer my favorite weapon in the game. Thank you so much for making it. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say an update for this in the final version of the game would be just wonderful. Hope it happens. Thanks.

I maybe asking too much but is there an option to make keeping sway not be affected by evade extender only evade window?
