The Hellfire whistle is the single most stupidest decision ever made in Rise. Who in the right mind would ever think players would tolerate hearing this crap for the duration of a fight. I'm surprised this mod has so few votes. Underrated, considering I can hear other player's whistle in Coop/MP too (this mod mutes it).
I'm looking to remove the little Palamute whimper sound effect, it is too close to my own dogs little whimper sound effect and i turn around check on my dog every time I catch it.
I have done some work on this, extracting the .PAK, digging around in the the .BNK files. I think what im looking to remove is the .313 or the 313rd item in the buff_media.bnk file in natives\STM\Sound\Wwise dir. (My unpacker numbers the mp3 .313) I am struggling to modify this .BNK or even import it into Wwise, or re-pack it into Fluffy.
Any help to understand this or a mod to remove the Palamute whimper in a similar fasion to this one would be a big help.
mahalo so much. this is the main reason why i didn't use it. annoying sound effect. why capcom doesn't include some kind of option to toggle it on or off is stupid.

Those for whom it doesn't work probably made a mistake when they installed.
