I was curious to see if this had the same issue as the old backpack mod, where exiting the game with items stored would trap them underneath the world forever. This one does not have that issue, and will instead poop out the items around you. It works very well, managing to safely poop out a full inventory, despite me being in the bathroom which was the smallest room I could find. 10/10 would poop again.
The only slight issue is that if you do forget to empty the inventory out before you save and exit, you cannot reopen the inventory without fully relaunching the game. Not a big deal, but worth noting.
I've uploaded a new version of the mod (v1.0.1) that fixes the inventory breaking after exiting to main menu. Please give it a try if you find some time :)
Can't hurt to try. You'll know if the mod is running if you launch the game with BepInEx & the Inventory mod installed and an Inventory.cfg file generates at MonBazou\BepInEx\config\Inventory.cfg
It seems to have done precisely that, which is absolutely fantastic. Now, When I open the inventory.cfg file, I am looking at the following under the settings heading:
## Sets maximum number of items allowed in inventory # Setting type: Int32 # Default value: 10 configInventorySize = 10
Any of the lines prefixed with 'config' are values that you can set.
So to change the maximum inventory size from 10 to 50, change configInventorySize = 10to configInventorySize = 50 then save the file. The game should pick up any config changes on next load.
I loaded this along with some other mods. It gave a transparent white crash. Tried each mod and unfortunately the one that did the crash is this one. At least for me.
Wait, there's other mods out there for Mon Bazou? Just saw that there's a bunch of older mods made in the past, but because the time since they were published is so wide, I never saw them pop up.
Logs can be found in the MonBazou\BepInEx folder, it will be named something like LogOutput.log. I think BepInEx only saves logs from the most recent run of the game, so you should have the relevant crash logs if you grab that file right after the game crashes. Feel free to upload the logs to pastebin.com or something like that and I'll take a look.
