Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I've released an update for the mod (version 1.1) which I think should fix it though I haven't had time to test it much.
I'm not gonna lie. Ever since I first tried our this mod, I've NEVER even considered playing without it. Massive thanks for EVERYONE involved. I can finally listen to the music and foosteps, and only the music and footsteps. This is what ME should be. Not some cringy constant commentary about social order and the ramblings of an awkward teenage girl. DICE should have made in-game dialogue fully mutable, like in the first game. My favorite mod, alongside the Music Swap mod. And perhaps the Act Change mod. (And perhaps the DOF mod.) Thanks again.
I suggested this mod to zphete. The idea behind it was, since this game encourages replaying missions to learn faster routes, listening to the dialogue over and over can get a bit distracting. Perhaps it's not the most innovative modification, but it seemed fairly easy to make (edit: turns out he just made it look easy) and I certainly appreciate it.
As Plenny said they requested it and it has a purpose. As for it being fairly easy it was actually quite hard to figure out, though the solution turned out to be relatively simple.
As for running out of interesting mods, most of us modders are waiting for the next update to the mod tools since the current version is quite limited.
Now it's clear, but still I do not agree and I do not see the point in this modification. I have no complaints to you, but it would be better for you to listen to really interesting tips and wishes from the players. I frankly say this modification makes the game only worse. And who wants to play without dialogs and subtitles, he can turn them off in the settings. Excuse me.
dialogue don't allow you to play? Dialogues and subtitles you can disable in game settings! Maybe the plot of the game does not allow you to play? Let's turn off the storyline! Maybe the music of the game does not allow you to play? Let's turn off the music, although it can be disabled in the game settings. Maybe the characters don't allow to play? Let them turn off ! Do You lack the imagination to find more interesting ideas? Why break the game? Breaking is not to create!
Mischa: dialogue can not be disabled through the in game settings. It can be boosted but that's all. That's why this mod is necessary. The mod is not intended to be an upgrade to the game and I do not expect it to be used by everyone. It is intended to be used by speedrunners who practice the same levels over and over and are tired of hearing the same repetitive dialogue.
If you think this mod makes the game worse you don't have to use it. There are a few people who do want this mod, and that's who it's for.
Yes, I understand. No problem. Just a question: is possible to make a modification the rain in the game? I have been dreaming about this and would love to see it. Rainy mission is only one in the game. I want to run around in the rain in open world . Thanks in advance!
Probably not, unfortunately. The rain in Release is mostly just clever tricks, smoke and mirrors. Also even if you could spawn a rain effect in the open world it would look wrong since none of the textures are set up to look wet and there would be no puddles. That's all stuff that was specifically built for Release. The developers obviously didn't think it was worth the effort to make the whole game have dynamic weather.
Absolutely excellent mod. Greatly relieves the sense of repetition when practicing faster mission routes. And, for anyone not interested in the story, it makes for a really fun "follow this waypoint" campaign.
Much praise to zhpete and derwangler for their super efficient and effective work - thanks so much, guys.

Well, your problems with this mod, that is.
