American Airlines Livery - I'm giving it a shot.  What's tricky is that it's SO shiny I'm having trouble getting the white stripe (between blue/red) to show up.  All I'm getting is clear - aka chrome instead of white.
I'm going to stick with it a bit longer and see if I can work it out.  If not I could always release what I have and someone else may have better luck with it.  It's still super cool though,
    so thanks for sharing!

wish I could help you with the white stripe, but I understand what you're talking about even though I have no idea how to make these and can only support people like you guys for helping make the FS2020 community better. I'd love to see what you got so far cause I've seen a lot of people, especially on reddit, wanting this livery badly. Is there any way to make the aluminum texture less shiny through wear (kind of like a sandpaper effect) that the old AA planes with tons of miles had?

If you are working off my chromed files in Photoshop you would need to select the same white stripe area of the _ALBD file in the _COMP file and change that selections blue channel to black. Or edit it in Blender with the MSFS2020 addon and select the stripe area and turn the metallic value down.

this is awesome! any chance you could do this for the American Airlines livery where they had the shiny aluminum base? That'd be awesome dude.
