The mod may appear as a false positive on some user machines, you can check however that the mod has been set as Safe to use by Nexus on the top right of the screen. If Windows always delete the mod when you download it check the How to fix Windows deleting the mod section in mod description..
This mod is so good it's unreal. I played this years ago but wanted to replay it now I have a nicer graphics card and I thought it'd be handy to skip the odd cutscene here and there but I forgot just how many there were. Saving hours of my life xD

Regarding that annoying Hold E to interact issue. I tried rewasd but it made everything weird. You have to use a timed macro to simulate holding E and pressing it 1.2 seconds it. Its very clunky.
Itd be awesome if you could take a stab at it. Even changing it to a single mouse/keyboard press would be epic.
After downloading and configuring this mod, navigate to C:\Users\Steam\Saved Games\Metro Exodus\76561197996160296\user.cfg and make these edits, which are not included in the mod:

Also, a huge thanks for the Custom Throwable Mini Hud. I have absolutely no idea why ranger hardcore forced you to rely on audio cues for hud elements lmao.
I'm not sure, i haven't worked on this mod for a while, i will go back to it at some point maybe. I guess you can use autohotkey to counter that but yeah the binds in this games are a bit weird
could we get this mod for the original or would it be too much of a hassle? i'm doing an Iron Mode and i lost an hour worth of gameplay because Artyom got stuck climbing down a ladder. seeing as how this is my third playthrough getting all achievements, as much as i love this game and its cutscenes, i was already getting tired of watching them, so i'd really like to not lose my head watching them for the third time. can't wait to do 3 playthroughs of Enhanced Edition as well...
I tried to make it work for the non enhanced version but i failed, so only the mod will only works with enhanced edition. I do believe steam achievements work using the mod.
well that's fine if it's only for EE. at least it's available for one of the editions. i love that it speeds regular gameplay too lol yes achievements do work.

Sorry man, forgot that the GoG-version is a bit silly. You have to either install the regular game first, and then install the EE on top of it AGAIN, or download the offline-installer, and then install the game. So after downloading and installing ~80GB twice - thanks GoG! - it's now working. I first configured the mod via the .json-file. And since I'm stupid, how can I access to overlay in game? It's usualy Home or Del or End, but nothing doing. What am I not seeing here (there's nothing on the bottom right to open the menu btw)? I can confirm that the mod is working though, since F2 speeds up the game, and F1 resets it to normal. Also the mouse-accel is gone to my immense relief.
Happy to know it's working. When you say overlay you mean the mod menu right? There should be a Kaibz mod button at the bottom right when you are in game's menus. If it's not there it means either that there is an issue with GoG or that m_isUseImgui is set to false in the json file
ok can you add an entry in the bug tab, and if you use the debug version of the mod, get to the game main menu, and copy/paste the entire log from the log file, so i can (may be) get an idea why this is happening?
