VISUAL CHANGES
The original look of the game is already very good looking; the purpose of this mod is to present 4 different anime styles & looks to the game
<LIGHT> is well-balanced for all players who enjoy bright, vibrant anime look & feel (more visibility in dark areas)
<BOLD> has a contrasty & saturated look & feel, suitable for those who like strong & rich color tones in anime/games
<FANTASY> is my personal favorite & has a slightly moodier fantasy storytelling look & feel, added with moderate amount of film grain
<DARK> is represented with a horror vibe & muted look & feel, added with a generous amount of film grain to emulate dark/horror anime

RECOMMENDATIONS
To achieve the best cinematic experience, I recommend installing MetaphorFix by Wintermance to get the widescreen effect (as seen in my screenshots)

REQUIREMENTS
ReShade & all the tools being used in this preset (Installation steps below)
INSTALLATION
- Download this mod - either the 4-in-1 collection or the individual presets (Light, Bold, Fantasy, Dark)
- Unzip the file(s) & paste content(s) to ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Metaphor ReFantazio
- Download Reshade
- Install ReShade -> Choose Metaphor: ReFantazio (METAPHOR.exe)
- Select DX10/11/12 & click next
- Uncheck all and choose ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Metaphor: ReFantazio\Film Art Anime 1 - Light.ini (just choose either Light, Bold, Fantasy or Dark) to install only the effects required
- Load up game
- Press Home while in game to enter ReShade interface
- Skip Tutorial
- Load your preferred preset from the dropdown list
- Toggle Performance Mode (optional) at the bottom of the interface, press Home again to exit Reshade UI & enjoy!
KNOWN ISSUES & SOLUTIONS
- If the game doesn't load up or crashes when running, rename the dxgi.dll file in the game folder to d3d11.dll
- This mod doesn't work with Metaphor Better Antialiasing as it's also a ReShade preset (do uninstall the mod first before reinstalling ReShade from its website for this mod to work properly)
