I want to be able to use this camo, but it looks like it replaces a camo to a FOB event that occured 4 years ago, and it's impossible to acquire anymore without downloading a modded save with a fresh start. or am I missing something?
Sorry for the late response on this. As far as I know all the FOB camo's rotate on a cycle (every two weeks). When new events are active new rewards are active too. You just have to wait for the right event
The pattern goes: Mosquito's Legacy New World Order Bound Dragons Freedom From Oppression (*Contains Woodland Fleck as a reward*) The Skulls Attack >>Repeat
So if you count cycles of two weeks from whatever is on now, you should be able to figure out when you can get Woodland Fleck.
Wow, I did not expect you to do an update of this camo, but I am so glad you did. The current version is awesome! I mean, I already loved the original one, but it always felt a little bit too bright for the less vibrant terrain backgrounds in MGSV - didn´t blend in as well, especially in the greenery, due to the sandy/yellow parts standing out a tad. In the photos from the Bush War, the camo always has a much more "washed out" look (presumably on account of frequent use in the field I assume), and I think with the 2.4 version you absolutely nailed that (the 2.0 version is nice as well). I did a little testing around the Angola map and it does a rather great job at blending in with the jungle and dry grassland areas. The darker shades of green and brown definitely helped and the difference from the first version is huge.
Also managed to try out your other new additions from the past few months (haven´t been playing MGSV much in the past year) and those are great as well. Particularly the new French and Gabon Lizard camos (I´m still a sucker for the Lizard), but I also really liked the DPM (another one of my favourites), MTP and 3DS Woodland. Keep up the great work!
I was wondering - if you have the time and mood in the future:
1) Could you add a version of the current 2.4 Brushstroke camo with the patterned scarf? It was a pretty neat addition to the 2.0 version and I would like to see how it looks and works with this one compared to the standard one-colour scarf.
2) Do you think you could add a version of the Portuguese Lizard camo with similarly desaturated/"washed out" colours (specifically the light green sections)? Just like the OG Brushstroke, the Portuguese Lizard suffers a bit from being a little bright (if beautiful) for the darker/less vibrant backgrounds featured in MGSV, with the light green sections in particular standing out. Again, looking at pictures from the Portuguese Colonial War, the camo there has a much more "washed out" look (again, presumably from all the wear), though just like you mention in the description with the Brushstroke, the colours tend to vary. But if you could modify it along the lines of your Gabon Lizard or desaturated DPM camos, that would be great (the Gabon Lizard in particular I think fits the colours of the Portuguese one which most photos feature pretty well, at least where the light green parts are concerned).
3) Would you ever consider doing MARPAT? Though I´m not much into having digital camos in MGSV and prefer more period and region-appropriate ones, MARPAT is the one digital camo I really do like and would like to see how it would work in TPP´s maps.

Why are we still here? Just to suffer? What are we fighting for, boss? We've lost our home. And the south. And now all of Europe, North America, and Oceania are gone.
Is it possible within the modding tools available to make a version of this to replace one of the colours that can be applied to weapons and/or vehicles/pequod?

We'll make them give it back. All of it.
